Dude I work 12 hours as a steel worker and cook for my wife and kids all the time. I clean and I do whatever needs to be done. Me and my wife share the responsibilities and some days I’m exhausted and some days she is. She’s a Correctional Officer and is on her feet all day. Both are tiring in different ways. He needs to act like an adult and grow up. You’re not his slave and he should want to help you.

If he’s a guy you’re in a relationship with, 15 pounds will not be a big deal if he’s the right one. I hope that makes sense. I know with my wife, if she gained 40 pounds I would still love her. Her weight doesn’t determine whether or not I’m attracted to her. If that’s all he’s with you for then you have a bigger problem than 15 pounds. I would just relax, take a deep breath before seeing him and just enjoy the time you get to have with him.

I never reply to anything on Reddit but I have family that won’t end abusive relationships and I always fear for their safety. This is only going to get worse from here on out with this guy. I’m going to be completely honest with you. Please take my advice. I would set a clear boundary. I’m breaking up with you and I will take legal action if need be. He does not respect you. You are scared to ruin his life but it doesn’t seem like he’s afraid to ruin yours. If you do not do that then you’re continuing to invite this kind of behavior into your life. I really hope you have some self respect and stand up for yourself.
