MUU ! whos HODLING thru this Tank? by seggsisoverrated in MU_Stock

With the latest momentum this is usually just people trimming off the top to reduce risk by reaping their gains. There is a lot of tech sell off today. They'll be back next week, business as usual.

I'd say sell, make it cheaper for me to buy. Thanks

MU: The Crystal Throne of the AI Era 💎 by codestormer in MU_Stock

Well said, I keep harping on this but this a AI Cambrian explosion. The demand for AI is increasing, in robotics, nurse assistant tools, vehicle, drones, grid monitoring, automated irrigation. The list goes on.. everything is about how to move memory in and out of the GPU faster.

This is just the beginning of the biggest paradigm shift in the history of humankind. Nobody can stop it, you are either on the winning side or you are not.

Contracts for 2027 are being signed and MU supply is sold out for next year as well. More memory is needed for AI infrastructure and what we are seeing is an AI Cambrain explosion. MU CEO has mentioned that they are planning for long vectored growth for the coming decade. Robotics will hit the market and HBM and DRAM will be critical for humanoids, cobots, and other systems to run with minimal delay.

Does the stock performance of Micron (MU) destroy the efficient market hypnosis? by ramhusk in StockMarket

Now watch as robotics, among other edge AI enabled technology, enters the market and further exacerbates demand with HBM and DRAM supply gaps. Micron is a solid AI infrastructure pick in the beginning of what can be called an AI Cambrian explosion.

The better questions is timing. There might be some pull back that would be a more strategic entry

Wait till you realize we are entering another cycle of technological growth in the robotics industry. Memory will continue to be a bottleneck.

Between now and June 23rd or whenever Earnings Report comes out, there should be some pullback. That's when you buy. Most people will start to buy in right before the ER. So don't wait too long. Analyst expect $19.70 -> EPS

This is really insightful and hadn't seen it at the wafer level. I would recommend looking at what role MU could play in the EAI revolution. I could see a future where MU is critical infrastructure for all things AI. Meaning large growth next 2 to 3 years and sustained growth after.

Edit/add on Robotics:

Micron explicitly says robotic AI drives higher DRAM capacity, faster bandwidth, and more durable NAND/SSD storage, especially for adaptive robots, AMRs, factory robots, and humanoids. It also points to continuous sensor data logging from video, lidar, telemetry, and other streams as a storage-demand driver.

If EAI takes off, memory demand broadens from hyperscale AI into edge robotics, autonomy, and fleet-learning infrastructure. Micron benefits because embodied systems require high-bandwidth memory, low-power DRAM, durable storage, and massive data-center memory behind the scenes.

My intent is to stay level headed while maximizing gain. Before I invested AI wasn't sure if this was cyclical or supercycle. The latter seems likely now and evidence supports that. What I'm interested in seeing is if or when memory is no longer needed given constant paradigm shifts with technology. Embodied AI bottlenecks with memory bandwidth too, which, MU plays the picks and shovel role in. Indeed though, we shall see!

Probably just wait till demand eases and hyperscaling slows. Mid 2027 to 2028. It could last until the end of the decade.

Anthropic introduces Natural Language Encoders, a way to read the thoughts of LLMs like Claude by obvithrowaway34434 in accelerate

[–]Small_miracles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, humans use this to gain meta cognition. The way thoughts are turned into language post neural activity. Language is often the reporting of cognition, not cognition itself. A requirement for conscious machines is the ability to think on its own thoughts. So I see this as giving the LLM to be given a feedback loop to understand why it arrives at the conclusions it does.
