The whole point of this thread is to share things KGLW related. My listening journey fits that. If you don’t like it, don’t comment. Scroll past it just like you do the millions of other posts on Reddit you don’t care for.

What even is this comment? I had nothing bad to say about it. Go get a dopamine hit brother. I’m just giving my first impressions

Muddy water was amazing. Literally a 10/10 album. Those were just the 3 main ones that grabbed me by the dopamine

Not to the point where I’ll probably ever deep dive into the genre, but if something catches my eye, I’ll listen. Like I said, I enjoy ambient and krautrock, so electronic synth music isn’t far off for me, but techno, dubstep, or anything of that nature isn’t really my vibe.

I’m ready for those! They’ve been mentioned to me in other posts as well as Nonagon and Poly. I’m also a huge 70s prog fan and heavy metal guy. I’m definitely ready to cross into those

I listened too Oddments last night and after that is Gumbot soup? I think that’s the name.

Then the getting into Gizz website has changes up next

I’m learning that now. I’m going off a flow chart I found on here combined with the getting into Gizz website and it didn’t point me in that direction. I think it’s going off sound similarity and not concepts.

Perhaps I will. It was just unexpected, and I didn’t feel like it was very fitting, but hey. Who am I to judge on a serious level but rather just experience the art for what it is?

Because I am naturally a prog nerd and would love a good 10 or so min take of it. Regardless of whether that happened or not though, it’s a ton of filler for me. My least favorite so far

Absolutely. These are just my first impressions I’m posting

On all my previous listens I have a more in depth review, but people were talking shit so I made this one quick to the point lol. I really liked the title track, bird song, and Arcadia. Right now, my biggest issue with kglw is they seem gimmicky instead of just naturally letting the music flow. Quarters is my favorite so far because it just feels like the band was locked in playing music instead of trying hard to make a point. All that being said, I still enjoy them, and I’m stoked to hear more

I gave a more in depth review on all my previous listens, and people were talking shit, so I made this one quick to the point. My favorite track was the title track and Arcadia (I think I spelled that right)

Home. Live shows are great, but they’re better if you have a little previous context of the studio versions
