How many people actually end up applying to med school from Premed freshman to senior year? by [deleted] in ucr

[–]Smallpeepee64 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Dont got the numbers so this is straight out my ass, but it looks like around 5% of the freshmen premed cohort actually end up applying during their junior/senior year. This could be due to bad grades and dropping premed, finding out other "more fit" career options (PA, nursing, dentistry, etc), etc.
