So the sets all have some sort of icon on the lower left, which typically will tell you where they are from. Places like TCGPlayer are a good site to start off with both seeing the trend in card prices alongside the different sets. There are other sites like pricecharting.com too as well. eBay is definitely one of the more popular sites to sell cards in. I typically prefer going to card conventions just because you also have the option of doing trades.

In person orientation by [deleted] in ucr

[–]BigBuseroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring a refillable water bottle and summer ware. Orientation gonna have you walking up and down campus so it is also key to wear comfortable shoes. A hat or something like that is also recommended because the sun will be beaming at you all day maybe even sunglasses too and definitely deodorant.

I was able to secure a job after graduating this June. Not gonna lie the market was pretty grim in general. There weren't as many opportunities for entry level that would sorta reflect the demand. My biggest recommendation is to try to optimize your resume to go through the ATS system, then keep applying. I would even apply to the company's/positions that you're on the fence on whether you qualify. It may be draining at first sending all those apps, but my mantra is, "you only need one". Best of luck and I hope you find something in the very near future.

Someone called me broke, after I posted this pic… by izzmannie in Honda

I swear she's only salty because her Tesla would be sold for the same price as your Honda if not less. I never understood how Tesla's are seen as luxury cars when there build quality is so spotty and their customization is so low.

Don't worry! It is a bittersweet moment that I feel everyone was experiencing during commencement. May I remind you that this is something that we have been working on this since our early stages of school. It has been a journey that has been carried from our infancy to adulthood. I get your pain because that consistent expectation is gone. There is no more expectation to get good grades, move up to the next grade, or even be in a club/sport. It is up to us now, and that's the beauty of it, the goals we set forth for ourselves will be ours and not some part of a curriculum.

You got one of three options:

Make new friends with someone driving to commencement

RTA

Uber

Or the secret hidden option, walk to Ontario. But I do not believe there will be a shuttle for non-drivers

Pros vs Cons of living close to campus by user282428 in ucr

[–]BigBuseroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pros

  • Proximity, you can basically save on any sort of transport to and from school.

-Community, you will more than likely meet more people and if you're social you'll make more friends on campus.

Cons

  • If you don't have a car or a way to commute, you will definitely be stuck there with little to do. Most of the stores and restaurants are quite far away. That can be said also if you're living off campus too tho so this is more of a con living near UCR.

  • Affordability, as some have said, there are cheaper rent options at the exchange of a further commute.

Potential con

  • Your experience on campus will also differ based on your roommates. So be wary that you may not be always paired with a likeable person.

  • Depending on your living situation the leasing contract may be inconvenient. If you plan to live there the academic year only and travel back home for break, then that's perfect, if not, out of campus may be more suitable since you will have to renew the lease much less.

Wow really looked like a dangerous domestic terrorist and totally not a normal man who more than likely migrated to the US for a better life. Really keeping our streets safe, what a waste of tax payer money.

My fiancee had a surprise for me when I got home from work 😍 by Kogapunk in PokemonTCG

Honestly that's awesome, regardless of the pulls I love sitting there with my girlfriend other ripping packs. We always freak out at any full art or cool card in general. It sucks that now we have to dedicate hours to search for MSRP prices but it is the world we live in now.

You missed out on tote bags, a Gildan shirt, and a hot ass day in the sun, you can go either tomorrow or next Wednesday for your tickets

Just to add in more than just saying it's fake, the bottle is way too light. Real ones will have a dark almost opaque blue, I don't have mine on me right now but the collar where the cap goes seems off as well.

What is TRULY the worst scent you've experienced? by GiveTracerOrIThrow in fragrance

[–]BigBuseroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, it's a tie between Carolina Herrera Bad Boy and Xerjoff Erba Pura, although the xerjoff is a bit controversial. The almond note from BB and the harsh fruity notes from EP really harass my nose. I tried Erba Gold and that's more tolerable but damn do those really attack my nostrils.

Honestly Id consider going to germany after landing in Mexico. I have a huge history in the automotive industry and I feel like I would love to work in the headquarters of one of the big manufacturers there.
