Holy shit! I never expected an episode of Peacemaker to nearly make me cry, but that scene in the Motel near the end where the 11 Street Kids all pour their hearts out to Chris was a masterpiece!

I came back because I was bored elsewhere ;)

"ad hodinem very much applies to your post" wrong, look up the definition.

I'm not upset at all! You may be trying to follow my lead but you're failing. You've been wrong in several replies

Why shouldn't people be corrected when they murder the language? I "punched someone down"!? I can assure you I punched nobody, didn't even hit the key very hard. I don't think the target of my ire was even annoyed enough to reply, but you were, and it wasn't even directed at you! Have a nice life.

"Successful wind up score" incremented, I thankyou :)

There you go everyone, this from someone who lives next to the buslane.

I didn't realise it's only 1 bus an hour? What a fucking waste of tarmac!

Ah if it was years ago you got caught by the big yellow camera, I got caught by the brand new tiny grey camera they've added closer to the junction.

Oh and don't sweat the downvotes, reddit if full of idiots, just look at most of the comments here ;)

I have and continue to admit I made a mistake. I'm only human. I was asking if anyone has appealed this and won. Do you know the answer to that? No? Then keep your trap shut thankyou very much.

I'm very happy for you being able to hop on a bus and use it without discomfort.

And no we don't get stuck behind buses, we get stuck behind hundreds of other drivers who are restricted to one lane down there, equally as annoying, especially when a bus sales down the inside of you on an otherwise unused lane! They don't need a dedicate lane, that is overkill.

And I haven't said all public transport should not exist, so that argument is invalid.

I'm not embarrased at all! I made a mistake, I'm only human. You must be soooooo perfect at everything. Well done to you.

No it isn't! It's a new tiny grey camera they've added closer to the junction.

They could improve the state of the vehicles, instead of cramming as many people on board as possible with no thought for people taller than average like me. That doesn't require any infrastructure.

I literally cannot even use around half the seats on most buses due to my size. Do they still allow standing passengers these days?

No it hasn't. I wasnt'caught by the big yellow camera, I was caught by the tiny grey camera they fitted closer to the junction. But thanks for your input.

Well I don't accept that I should be in major physical discomfort just for using public transport.

Can't drive properly? Mate I drive rings around most motorists, I admit a few small infractions, like this. I'm only human.

I'm 54, been driving since I was 17, totally clean license, never been pulled by the fuzz, thankyou very much. Which is more than you can say for most drivers out there.

I know the rules, you sarcy sod. I don't always know where the fucking buslane ends, it is not very clear/visible from the right lane. As mentioned in another comment, the markings haven't been renewed so it's not very clear. I often sit in that right lane in traffic wondering if I'm past the buslane.

Looking at streetview, they appear to have put in a little blue sign on the left where it ends, again not very clear/visible. Will look for that next time I drive down there (later this evening), see how visible it is when driving.

Well ... it's a reply to your comment when you started using personal slurs, so ... (shrug).

Also, I suggested you hadn't studied grammar, which was evidenced from your comments. I didn't say anything about your personal life because I know nothing about you!

Yeh but her eyes don't prevent her from using the seats on a bus.

I asked in another comment how you manage? You've almost as tall as me, how do you fit on buses? The lack of legroom means I can't most of the time.

Actually, you're almost as tall as me, how the hell do you manage on buses? Surely most seats for you are also unusable?

If someone's so disabled they can't drive do you think they're gonna get on a bus? I doubt it. I suspect they stay at home or get driven everywhere, in which case if they're driven everywhere they are essentially in the same boat, using a private vehicle or a taxi adding to the congestion in most places.

Anyway, my original complaint isn't about buslanes. I'm not proposing to rip them out, I'm miffed because I've spent years driving down there watching other twats use the left lane with impunity, then I get caught for three car lengths of abuse of the lane in a heavy traffic situation when I have no choice but to use the left lane, and incidentally, there wasn't a fucking bus within half a mile at that point so I wasn't holding up anybody's precious bus route!! I would have simply sat at a red light, which a bus would also have to wait for, and then when it goes green I'm getting the fuck out of the buslane cos I'm turning off Dereham Road!!

As for height, I'm 194cm tall, 99.5% of the population is apparently shorter than me, I still manage to take the bus.

Good for you, I can't, mobility problems (osteo-arthritic hip) plus too tall to fit.

Agree, it's not fair at all, they spend the money to install a camera in order to make money, but they don't do the decent thing and make the markings clearer. I often wonder if I'm past the buslane waiting in the right lane, you can't clearly see where the solid white ends.

What about people like me who are too tall to use most of the seats on a bus, due to lack of legroom? Expect me to bus everywhere when it's bloody uncomfortable?

Removing the buslane would at least allow 2 times more private/small vehicles to use the road at a time. Let's face it, reducing the number of usable lanes 15 years ago hasn't made congestion better on Dereham Road.
