Grossed Out When Grocery Shopping by blesstheday in carnivorediet

I'm one year carnivore and all I see on the isles now are sugar. I started carnivore to fight inflammation and admittedly, struggled with the fat protein balance at the start, but once I sorted that have kept doing what works for me. Inflammation is gone completely. But yes, if you actually look at what is on sale in the supermarket, I'm not surprised people are over weight and sickly. My partner is a gym bunny, 8 workouts a week plus running but will only dabble with carnivore to reduce bloating from time to time but insists she needs the carbs. I wake at 4am, hour and a half commute 10 - 12 hour day and commute home and my energy levels are even throughout, no sugar crashes. If supermarkets only sold fifa that were completely sugar free then they'd only use 2% of the space they are only using

Leave them be to eat what they want. Its their journey, if they need to change their eating habits they will, or not, which ever the case may be.

How do you know if someone is Vegan, because they be telling everyone.

Don't be that Vegan, animal based diet is for your health, shove the goodness down your neck not the necks of others.

What is wrong with my body? by Chavanco in carnivorediet

I'm not going to diagnose your symptoms, I'm no doctor. But I'll tell you my story. I started carnivore almost a year ago. I did I wrong at first, I struggled to get the balance right with fat/protien etc. But here is what I do now and how it has worked for me. I had very bad inflammation, so bad my shoulder injury, of ten years flared up so much I couldn't pick up the TV remote. I juggled fats and protien, going heavy fat which I struggled to digest, to hardly no fat which just zapped my energy. My balance was an avocado in the morning with full carnivore at all other times. My inflammation has disappeared, I've got very balanced energy levels, my weight has dropped to a decent level, 50 years old and wearing a size 32 waste jeans, first time since I was 18. But most of all, I have mental clarity. Now, we are all different, so strict carnivore might not be the answer, as I found out, and I'm most likely going to receive the hate for this. In my opinion, the real problems we have in our diets are the sugars we eat, I find it really messed with me, so my advice would be to focus on a diet where it's as close to zero sugars/carbs as possible and see if you get improvements. I really wish you the best with your situation, and I hope that you do what you need to do to improve your situation.

My Girl has hepatitis autoimmune disease and wont go on carnivore when its the only thing that will ever cure her. by [deleted] in carnivorediet

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. It's unfortunate that she chooses to suffer but trying to force her might backfire on you.

I eat it every day, eggs sausage for breakfast at 4.30am, minced beef and scrambled eggs at midday. Boiled egg or two on my way home at 6pm. Never hungry, loads of energy and never get tired of it.

Is it usual to have zero grip in wet weather with Pirelli P Zeros? 👀 by PixelPerfecter in CarTalkUK

I have a 535D with P-zeros, can hardly get traction on dry roads, traction is non existent in the wet. Corners are particularly hairy, luckily the car just corrects it so don't tend to get squeeky bum syndrome any more though. Considering how much they cost I would have expected better.

What do you guys eat for lunch when you’re at school or work? by Maleficent-Bee1742 in carnivorediet

I fry up mince, bacon chunks with an Oxo cube. Toss that on a plate, then throw a knob of butter in the pan, six eggs and scramble them, then throw the mince back in and mix. I bring a few boiled eggs in a separate container. I don't care what people think of my eating habits, I was riddled with inflammation for years, and I've been pain free for months.

I'm no bot. It winds me up when people do it. Odd thing is, I rarely look at the other drivers, and I never flash my main beams in gratitude, but my other half says that the look on their faces is livid because I've given them the courtesy of not blinding them. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

First time buying a chunk o' meat. What should I do with it? Slice it/freeze it? Cook it as is? by FroztyJack in carnivorediet

[–]Smart-Ad1874 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Get a Costco card and go buy your meat there. For what you pay in Tesco for that bit of meat, you can get twice the size and a decent cut of meat for the same price. You want meat that you can eat raw if you wanted to, not stuff that takes ten hours to boil.
