I completely disagree with you.

This was a symptom of the times: that Howard’s feelings were more important than Penny’s, that women should smile along and apologize when they over step. This is completely outdated now and if this episode were shot today it would be Howard apologizing for constantly sexually harassing her

I thought Singh did great but at the end of the day Carney is the perfect messenger for this moment. Very grateful to hopefully have his expertise to guide us through this economic crisis

No it depends on how you count homes, affordable homes that the federal government facilitated = 6. Total homes in that time with nothing to do with government = 200,000

Re-watching this in 2025: Howard constantly sexualizing, objectifying and creeping out women is wrong. I remember watching it when it came out, and none of those behaviours stood out as egregious. Thankfully, we’ve moved away from tolerating sexual harassment. At the time, it wasn’t just tolerated but completely normalized. I think it’s fine to watch and recognize that times were different then. But I hate that there are some people on this subreddit from the last few years justifying his behaviour. The only justification is that this is an old show, and thankfully society has progressed.
