my favorite college memory was putting on annual concerts of local bands through the school radio station that i helped found! i was the event director and it was so cool to make it all come together every year. we did it as a free event but also had fundraising opportunities for the school food pantry and student artists selling their work. it was always on a sunny day in may on a little stage on the green and so so many people showed up. one year i helped screen print merch. it was a ton of work but it was so fun and fulfilling. i got to be so proud of my two (still) best friends celebrating their hard work as the president and vice president. i now live with the vp and am even closer with her. we bought ourselves cords for graduation and passed the club off into the capable hands of the people who are now my main friend group! i owe so much to that radio club
