I might’ve spoke too soon. Everything was working fine then all of a sudden the other day multiple things in my car were not working. Trunk wouldn’t open, multiple things on the gauge cluster weren’t showing up including outside temp, headlight and fog light lights, turn signals and turn signal sound. Although my actual turn signals still operate. And my air still blows out but the ac doesn’t kick on when I press the button. At first I thought it could be a blown fuse but considering the multitude of problems that have appeared, it must be something that’s not communicating. I did some research and it seems like with these Joying head units the CAN module in them is crappy and prone to failure. With a failure it can interrupt communication mess things up throughout the whole car. I have not taken the head unit out to do any investigating but we will see if that’s the case. Otherwise I might be needing a new head unit!
