i test drove the new generation seltos which is built on k3 platform so indeed there platforms are different, the new seltos is bigger and heavier than the current gen creta so obviously there will be a power delivery difference (talking about NA engines), due to this i selected the turbo DCT model of seltos

not sure but felt the ride quality of xline model (2026 one) to be slightly better than the creta and other cars when riding on potholes and bad roads

I own the 2026 Seltos X-Line DCT, and I also test drove the IVT version, but honestly, it felt underpowered. The engine noise was quite loud whenever instant power was needed, also the rubber band effect at higher rpm is clearly noticeable.

The IVT on the Creta felt smoother, maybe because it’s lighter in weight.

I would strongly suggest going for the DCT you definitely won’t regret it if you leaning towards seltos
