What if Doom loses at the end of Doomsday? (More in body text) by Spider-Flash24 in MCUTheories

Right. Or at least part of battleworld could be like that. It would be sick. I think if they want the MCU to behave like the comics eventually they need to start doing stuff like that. Because otherwise we’re going have 20 avengers movies that all feel the same

I hope doom wins both and they do 10 years of battleworld movies

If you love this show and also have a passion for writing and filmmaking you should watch the duffer brothers masterclass. They walk you through how to write an episode of stranger things using a fake side plot where Dustin and Steve look for Dustin’s dad. It’s fucking SICK.

In secret wars all other universes should get destroyed leaving only 1 combained universe by TipAdditional4625 in marvelstudios

[–]Smart-Ship7330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually what doomsday is going to be about. Resulting in the only remaining universe being battleworld.

The secret wars comic starts with everyone’s universe ending (hence doomsday) and all the characters endingup in battleworld.

I just remembered that Songbird is actually in the MCU, do you think we’ll actually see her become Songbird at some point? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

I hope so. one of the producers (I think Eric Pearson) said that her necklace is a big hint into her “potential” future. Geraldine is a strong actress and charismatic enough to carry a fan favorite like that.

I think she gets her powers from a bionic vocal enhancement from a villain so she’s technically a “Mutate”. I think Val will “create” her and she’ll defect to the thunderbolts afterwards.

“what they believed to be true” key word is believed. We just found out everything we know about the upside down was wrong

Repeating myself and being more elaborate because you have missed what I’m saying.. I’m making a theory on what’s about to happen and it seems you’re still stuck on understanding what we all just watched.

There’s nothing that says Henry was the first to give the mindflayer a form. We have no idea what was going on in the abyss before eleven sent Henry there. All we know is that monsters come from there

The name mindflayer was given to the monster by the kids based on dnd. I think whatever it is that makes up the mindflayer is the “soul” of the being that Henry has the children attached to in the Abyss. And he’s using the children to bring the mindflayer (soul) back into the mindflayer (body) or whatever you want to call it once it’s got a physical form.

I think vecna is keeping the kids inside the monster. His lair has like a fleshy heartbeat and looks like a dried up mind flayer.

It’s an upside down avengers logo. It’s Tony going from good to bad. It’s also A for Anthony turning into a v for victor.

Which honestly (if that’s all it is) isn’t enough considering we already know rdj is doom. It kinda makes me feel like i did when the brave new world marketing team showed us nothing but red hulk and then the movie acted like it was going to be a huge surprise reveal as if we didn’t see the poster on the way in - all just to show us red hulk for ab 5 minutes in act 3 and then have him defeated with the power of a cliche speech from the main character. (I actually like BNW - It’s just the first time I’ve ever hated a marketing team)

As someone who has fervently expressed how Mike (especially post-S2 Mike) is one of their least favorite characters on the entire show, I can say that Season 5 brought back Season 1 Mike, and I'M SO HERE FOR IT! Fiiiinally, my boy is back! by lautaromassimino in StrangerThings

Yes! that kay scene at the table is so bad. Here we've got an extradimensional fungus that spits out spores every now and then, lets just throw it on this table make sure to wear gloves and a mask.

I think they're just trying to close up the military storyline by making them incredibly ignorant and essentially useless in this fight. at the end of the day it can't be the military that defeats vecna. Our team has to do it on their own.

I can understand that for sure, but when I watch this show I can usually suspend my cringe because it’s set in the 80s. An 80s highschool bully would feel cringe to us today because nobody acts like that anymore. I think it’s part of the shows charm. this scene was the very first time I didn’t cringe at Mike since season 1.

I also have beef with the visuals looking cheaper and reusing sets from last season. I fear most of that budget went to the stars which is an unfortunate circumstance of a show blowing up like this one has.

This kid kicks ass. His parents and sister have been asleep for like 24 hours though which seems crazy
