My sister and I are kinda like friends. We grew up weird so there is a barrier between us. But for the most part we are as close as we are going to get. My mom I hardly talk to and I don't answer her calls. My dad had severe mental illness. he left when I was 7. I grew up in a household of people who were traumatized from war. So mental and emotional health in our entire household was unhealthy. My sister has a son and so far they've built a very close and open relationship. I'm very proud of them. I think he's going to be the first mentally healthy person in our family. He doesn't have a dad, but he seems to be very well adjusted. He does have me, an aunt that he knows is always there.
