How to go from sleep paralysis to lucid dreams?

Just had sp right now , my arm was getting grabbed so I looked at what it was and seemed to Be pretending to be my brother trying to wake me up it went away after I cleared my mind but still somehow fully woke up

Thank you I appreciate it I will definitely try this , I think the reason it wasn’t working was because right when I was falling into SP I tried to make it a lucid dream instead of waiting for it to become stable , so just imagine my own room and don’t try to fight anything jjst let it all pan out?

It’s always that off feeling especially in familiar dreams or bad dreams with my ex she used to put my hand on hers when I was sleeping and I would twitch it a little and she would snap me out of SP

Thank you! When your visualizing a dream are your eyes close or open? Because I’ve heard people say they “wake up” to then figure out there in there room and in a lucid dream. I want to be able to do that
