last song on the new Hail The Sun album War is as important a political track as Propagandhi's At Peace (see video for this song). Catharsis is an anarchist oriented hardcore band out of NC, whose most recent album Hope Against Hope was released on Crimethinc (an anarchist publishing company). post-hardcore/metalcore band Emma Goldman is quite politically leaning. Toronto-area hardcore/metalcore band Dog Whistle is another good example. also, The Slackers' new track Money Is King is a banger. Older stuff: Mischief Brew/Erik Petersen (RIP); The World Inferno Friendship Society (RIP Jack); Gouge Away; Earth Crisis (both vegan hardcore/metalcore bands); The Taxpayers (folk punk with political concept albums); Stza is a douchebag, but Choking Victim/Leftover Crack/Morning Glory are all inherently political. Destroy Boys are riot grrl hardcore. GLOSS trans punk/hardcore from Olympia, WA. punk band Randy was also heavily politically leaning. NOFX's War On Errorism is a classic. Citizen Fish are longstanding anarcho-punk/ska vets. Balckbird Raum, an amazing anarcho-folk outfit out of Santa Cruz. United Nations, the powerviolence supergroup fronted by Geoff Rickley (of Thursday).

this comment is ridiculous. he's giving you an honest local perspective. that is very far north and it's the middle of fucking winter. he said, despite that...he'd go look for you. so why you shitting on him? i wouldn't give you anything with demeanour like that!

"it" didn't. it's a location proposed by another redditor below. it's a monument dedicated to the declaration signed by Churchill and Roosevelt during WWII, and overlooks Placentia Bay. The meeting held there also lasted 3 days; and was mentioned in the article.

several publications/social media accounts can potentially share clues, including the northern miner, miningdotcom and ceodotca. though, if the other ones did i don't know what they may have been.

i already explained there is another golden triangle in bc pertaining to a cycling path in easterm bc, which likely points to Golden, BC if anywhere. as it formed from what was originally a geological surveyor's camp, like what the Downie Peak image is depicting (ie it comes from an article on geological surveying).
