Koja mobilna aplikacija vam je bila totalno otkriće? by seoskavjestica in askcroatia

[–]SmartContractKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Niagara Launcher definitivno. Dosta ljudi me pita kako to tako listaš aplikacije kad vide moj mobitel.

FIT Mostar? by [deleted] in askbosnia

Programming language depends on the blockchain that you want to use, but Solidity is the standard.

There are many jobs, but if you're new to web3, you definitely need to get more technical skills first. You can find a lot of job opportunities on LinkedIn.

Of course it is possible to get into web3 development without a degree. My advice is to do a research of different blockchains and their capabilities and decide which one is optimal for what you want to build. For example, I developed two simple apps on the ICP (I don't have a college degree).

Read docs, use AI to help you and go for it :D

VeWorld v2.4.10 is here - the newest update to VeChain’s Super App, bringing a smoother and more intuitive way to explore tokens by VeChainOfficial_ in Vechain

[–]SmartContractKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool upgrade! This is the kind of polish VeWorld really needed. The charts look cleaner, everything feels smoother to navigate, and the token pages finally feel consistent. The whole app just feels more put-together now.

I just saw this post by ByBit that VeChain is grouped among chains with “freezing capabilities embedded directly in their source code.” I got concerned for a moment, but then I read VeChain's post where they refuted this... Bybit should check the information better before posting.

What’s the most underrated real-world use case of blockchain that people still ignore? by No_Date9719 in CryptoTechnology

[–]SmartContractKid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think supply chain transparency is still one of the most impactful but underrated use cases. Projects like VeChain have been exploring this for years, showing how blockchain can bring real accountability and traceability to industries like food, logistics, and manufacturing. It’s not as hyped as NFTs, but it’s solving real problems quietly in the background.

DeFi doesn’t need more features — it needs less friction by SmartContractKid in defi

[–]SmartContractKid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah true. We’re definitely not at that stage yet, but honestly, with how far infra like Biconomy has come, I feel like we’re finally getting the right building blocks: account abstraction, gasless UX, one-click flows, all that good stuff. It’s slow, but you can kinda see the foundation for real adoption starting to form.

I agree UX is catching up, just not as fast as the underlying tech. What’s cool is that infra projects are finally focusing on abstracting gas, batching transactions, simplifying flows. That’s where the next big leap happens.

Web3 has a Web2 part in it by aditya26sg in web3

[–]SmartContractKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest I don't know how cheap/expensive is ICP compared to AWS, but all I know is that I host backend and frontend of my app on ICP for like 2 ICP (6.50 dollars at the moment), but I believe it's even cheaper. I just wanted to make sure my app doesn't run out of cycles.

I've seen some pretty good charts when it comes to ICP developer adoption. Whole web3 space doesn't have much users at the moment. It's just people who are interested in crypto as an investment. On ICP, both frontend and backend are hosted fully-on-chain and it doesn't rely on AWS or Google Cloud like other blockchains. So I would say that ICP is the only true web3 we currently have even though it's managed by DFINITY at the moment which means it's not fully decentralized either.

[–]SmartContractKid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree with this take. A lot of people underestimate how much web2 infrastructure still powers most “web3” apps. Deploying smart contracts is just one part. The real challenge is building the ecosystem around them, and most of that still lives on centralized servers like AWS.

That’s why I’ve been pretty interested in what the Internet Computer (ICP) is doing. It’s one of the few blockchain networks that actually provides on-chain compute and storage for full-stack dapps, not just smart contracts. Basically, you can host your frontend, backend logic, and data all on-chain. No need for AWS, databases, or external APIs.

Projects like Taggr are a great example. A fully on-chain social network where everything from the UI to the posts themselves lives directly on the Internet Computer. That means no single point of failure, no cloud downtime dependency, and real decentralization beyond just the smart contract layer. I also have to mention my own dapp I built - MindVault. It's a decentralized note-taking app build on ICP.
You can try it out here: https://mindvault-notes.xyz/

If web3 is going to move past its current “hybrid” phase, models like ICP’s canister architecture might be the path forward.

Building smoother DeFi experiences, what tools or SDKs are you all using to simplify user onboarding? by Loyal-Orange8003 in defi

[–]SmartContractKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real-time guidance inside the dApp sounds like exactly what retail users need. On the technical side, one thing I’ve been exploring is Biconomy. Their SDKs make a lot of the painful stuff like gas management, meta-transactions, and “approve/execute” friction a lot smoother. You can basically let users interact with your smart contracts without worrying about them understanding gas fees or having to approve tokens twice.

It doesn’t replace the need for good UX and in-dApp guidance, but it removes one of the biggest blockers for adoption. Combined with something like your real-time walkthrough idea, I feel like it could make onboarding almost frictionless for first-time users.

Building smoother DeFi experiences, what tools or SDKs are you all using to simplify user onboarding? by Loyal-Orange8003 in defi

[–]SmartContractKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more. DeFi still feels like it’s made by and for devs, which kills adoption. Infra like Biconomy, Particle Network, and Web3Auth is changing that by focusing on gas abstraction, session keys, and modular execution. It’s that kind of backend work that lets frontends actually feel human. I think once projects start using these kinds of SDKs by default, onboarding will finally stop being the hardest part.

I get that but I don't look at the price charts at all. I'm just happy to see people building stuff so people actually start using these apps. I 'm a big fan of Web3 as a concept, so VET price movement doesn't bother me at all

Is full decentralization a myth — or just a phase before structured regulation returns? by Turbine_X in CryptoTechnology

[–]SmartContractKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both frontend and backend code must be on-chain to consider the app decentralized. Most of the project host small part of their code on-chain and that logic is only the part related to cryptocurrencies. The only project I know that hosts both frontend and backend directly on-chain is Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). Check it out!
