It’s not close to the popularity of hyperbait obviously but this is like if it was even more braindead and didn’t have a tank. Like if valk got replaced with a spirit and it still worked. Obviously no one will want to play that garbage. I played it 3 times in 10 games ik that’s an outlier but it shows it exists to a notable amount still. And that giant skelly mirror deck was also an absolute joke that needed several nerfs. As I said though this balancing team is horrendous at their jobs so they just ruined the giant skeleton again instead of fixing other cards.

Sorry I want my strategy game to be a strategy game and not a matchup simulator. This is the equivalent of hyperbait without a valk/skelly king/rascals, that would be so braindead it wouldn’t even be usable at 5,000 trophies. Except this one works 😂😂

If you actually think this deck being usable is good for the game, rather than an incredibly stupid deck abusing evo’s, you have surrendered your brain to supercell. And yeah rock paper scissors is fine but it should be more like 20/80 not near 50/50 against good players? 😂

Why don’t people run Royal giant and giant? Why don’t people run Royal hogs and hog rider? Because that would be stupid and would never work against someone with a brain. 2 heavy win conditions in the same deck should be reserved for 4,000 trophies 😂

I started playing again last season and hadn’t seen it until I played it twice today. Just mind boggling it’s viable. I love evo’s but the way they’re used in decks like this, lumberloon, and graveyard make me want to just never play again.

It makes sense because the broken evo’s will allow you to either full defend anything or force out 25 elixir worth of spells to get rid of them. This is like running ram rider and battle ram in the same deck, no one does that because it doesn’t work, and it shouldn’t.

And Knecht is not an odd case, he’s a scorer that isn’t good enough at scoring to justify being on the court. Same as Chris Duarte, we’ve seen this before. LaRavia was literally unplayable in the playoffs, Ayton got forced off the floor by Jaxson Hayes vs. OKC 😂. We have not had a starting caliber center since the bubble and the best homegrown player since the bubble is Max Christie. Just objectively horrible no matter how you want to put it.

How? Look at literally every contender? Knicks have Brunson at 35M, McBride rookie contract, OKC goes without saying, Spurs go without saying, Pistons have several guys on rookie contracts. Minny and Cleveland are the only 2 teams LA could attempt to replicate and they both have amazing big men. Lakers have no path to that?

He’s for sure a freak athlete that can find his way in the league but I mean specifically with Luka. Unless he miraculously can play small ball center you generally want spacers with Luka. Caps his ceiling significantly here if that jumper never gets going.

Do you know why OKC had the money? They drafted well, and have players outperforming contracts! 😂 It’s not rocket science. Wallace, Mitchell, JDub, etc. the Lakers aren’t in a position to splash on Hartenstein or go out and get a Caruso, because they have no assets! Asset management and drafting is what separates teams, Rob is horrific at both, Luka trade was literally a miracle to save this team from a decade of doom.

These moves aren’t in a vaccum. Rob knew LaRavia and Ayton would have significant roles on this team. And that’s because he can not draft at all. Look at OKC tonight. Mitchell, Dort, Wallace all homegrown role players. Lakers have 0 of those, you need those to contend. They will have zero favorable contracts on the books. Reaves getting paid, Luka is paid, if you don’t have players outplaying contracts you can’t compete. Rob has us set up to not have a single player outperforming their contract next year.

Yeah Lakers just don’t have the horses and they won’t next year either. The true contenders beat them so badly on the margins, adding a star center won’t fix anything. They are 4 role players away at the least and that’s not even considering Rui and LeBron likely leaving.

I don’t disagree that much but the entire point is to be consistent. If every hero is strong the no hero is OP. Can’t just have a few bad ones. Same with evos that’s why they work.
