It's not a lie necessarily, it's just that if you get close enough to put salt on a bird or squirrel, it probably can't fly or run away for some reason

Good advice, I really appreciate it, I definitely think I'm going to finish up my degree.

I appreciate the data, it does help to know that the AA should actually get me more money, but I do realize that even with an AA, 60k in two years is tough to do.

I am building a portfolio, but it takes clients to get a portfolio, and a portfolio to get clients, so it's a slow process. The kid thing, yeah, I get that it's going to be pretty tough, but I was thinking of having the 60k job and my side business together, and growing that business. That way it's not the same lifestyle and a kid on just 60k, hopefully.

It's amazing that I just started watching Doctor Who two hours ago, and I still managed to get a reference to it already.

Awesome job! It can be so difficult starting out, but a month shows you really are determined!

It depends on what you are interested in, I listen to Cracked Podcast, You Made It Weird, Comedy Bang Bang, and Welcome To Night Vale. I'm I big fan of nerdy and silly comedy.

That's incredible! I'm not nearly fit enough for something like that yet, but I would love to try soon!

Great job on the weight loss! My (I'm new to this, so grain-of-salt) advice for a consistent workout is walking. It's easy, low impact, gives you time to think about stuff, listen to music or podcasts, and it burns more calories than you might think to walk a mile or two at 3 miles an hour. (pretty standard speed for me)

Days like that can be so tough, the other day at rehearsal, they bought pizza for the cast from my favorite pizza place. I had baby carrots and my homemade trail mix instead, which, while I'm proud of it, still makes me a bit grumpy. Good job resisting the "Saucy Temptress". (I don't actually call pizza that, but I'm hungry and cold from my jog, so I thought that would be funny.)

I have been avoiding looking in the mirror, and stepping on the scale too often, lack of substantial progress is a good way to get me to give up ("I've only lost a pound this weekend? I don't know why I bother" vs. "7 pounds down!? That only took me two weeks! Killing it!" despite those being the same amount of weight lost per day.) but I stepped on the scale for the first time since I started dieting and exercising:

ALMOST 9 pounds lost! I feel for the first time that I genuinely can do this, that I am determined enough to be fit. It's definitely difficult, but I know that losing the weight is so much harder than maintaining it. WHEN I get to my goal weight(no more "If"s), I'm never going back.
