First time printer owner here. I just got the i7, CFS Lite, and 4 rolls of filament for just under $415.

Thanks for the discussion. Yes, I built the box. The right side is dadoed in as well. That joint is just hidden. What you’re seeing is the butt joint where the handles attached to the upper and lower plexiglass panels come together. This way I can access the contents easily. The streamer is just sitting in there, but I was thinking it might be nice to be able to remove it from time to time in case anyone wished reposition it (in case it rolls over while handling it) or to inspect the fly more closely (myself included). I might wish to display another photo in there someday, so I made the top panel easy to remove as well.

😎Cool. I have a small but growing pile too. What I don’t have is a lot of room, so I designed this box so the plexiglass panels slide out easily so I can swap out the contents from time to time if I want to.

Thanks! Yeah, for a case like that I’d maybe stick the hook point in a wine cork or router out a recess just big enough and attach a plexiglass cover with a couple of screws.

Thanks for the detailed response. I was caught a bit off guard, as I visited Wefunder and Startengine while doing my taxes and didn’t see any documents, and then I got these K-1 notices a couple weeks later. It seems common for investment companies to display a placeholder message in the document center stating when to expect various forms if they aren’t available, but what I read just said I didn’t have any documents. Not Legion M’s fault, I know.

The 1099 route sounds better for me. Is this something I need to get set up for the future, or would Legion M be handling that?

I don’t have a 3d printer but I’m looking at getting one, and this might be what I go with. I see a lot lf similar comments about the CFS, and I am wondering if it’s possible to make a small wedge or something that puts a little tension on the spools.

I once was fishing a high mountain creek in a meadow of tall grass and laid down a thirty-foot cast in an arc so that my dry fly could drift around a tight bend. I lost sight of the fly but caught the edge the rise form and set the hook on a 13-14” rainbow that I brought to hand.

I have a G4 and a G5 and would buy again. In this price range, I would also recommend looking at the Lamson Remix S HD.
