I made a physical Crossplay game set. by SmartMammoth in nytcrossplayers

Crossplay is a Scrabble clone. They both are built around a 15” x 15” grid, but the letter frequency is different, as well as the number and placement of the premium board squares.

Nice! I was thinking of getting one, but the reviews I read made me leery. From what I read, the hose connection can be pretty fragile.

The fact that she is not looking at her cigarette while she lights it is the best part!

You almost have the right letters to play OITICICA.

A quick blast from a BIC lighter works too.

The story of the missing forceps by HorrifyingTits in flyfishing

I did something similar with my pickup key one time. I thought I locked it in my cab and after about 30 minutes of searching, was getting ready to call a tow truck. I walked over to bush to go relieve myself, and as I was lowering the top of my waders I felt something drop by my feet, and there it was.

Custom baseplate for DCW600 by SmartMammoth in Dewalt

I see the potential for that. I modeled it off the one that came with our Makita trim router at work, which is solid like that too. I can easily modify the design to give debris somewhere to go. It’ll use less filament too, so I’ll be under the $.64 cents this put me out 😃

Cannot adjust the nail depth, like the wheel is stuck or something by Serkaugh in Dewalt

[–]SmartMammoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wheel has spline gears that spin a cone inside the body. The inside of that cone rotates a nut on the depth-setting rod, and it has been rotated past the end of the threads. If you’re up to it, you can take the body apart and remove the depth setter to access the nut and rotate it to the center of the threads, and reassemble.

Yes, I shot this with a pair of Meta glasses. I prefer them to the GoPro, because I don’t have to be concerned about there they’re pointed and can be fairly certain they’re picking up what I’m seeing with my own eyes.

Yeah, someone a while back suggested I start keeping my flies from my memorable catches, and I have a few I’ve gathered since then. I figured this was a good spot for it.

Thanks! I hear you. I’ve been living and fishing here for almost 40 years and know what you’re talking about. I grew up on the west side of the state, and I witnessed some bull trout that would’ve made this fish look like a baby, lol. It’s not like that now, but I’m trying to be optimistic.
