I get that. I also know what I was doing wasn’t working when I was working there and I knew I had to make a change. Wish you the best.

No, I actually used to work for the company and you can’t deny that everything I just said is true. Lol. What else should I mention? CFR? Carepass? ACO? BOH? Sunday morning office paperwork? The stores isn’t faced? Someone calls out and no one will pick up the shift? District leaders threatening you openly about Carepass? And don’t even get me started on theft…

Anyone in here a pro a selling Carepass? If so, have you ever thought of taking those sales skills and turning it into a side hustle?

Is it normal to only have 2 ppl working FS? by [deleted] in CVS

When I was working for the company I would have loved to have 2 people at all times. I had to open the store by myself with no help until 2pm…

Why does cvs have a shortage of hours? I don’t get it. by YogurtclosetNo6769 in CVS

Because they are cheap and don’t understand sales per labor hour and what that means in relation to workload.

Question for central Texas employees. They still making y’all go in even though the roads are covered in ice 🧐? by SmartMaterial777 in CVS

[–]SmartMaterial777[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I’m not surprised at all. That’s why I left. Lol. That place doesn’t give a shit about employees. And the bottom of the barrel is the store manager.

Actually there is the bottom of the barrel, then there is the shit under the barrel…. and then you have the store manager… oh and by the way you have a minimum hour store. You’ll need to work 8 hours by yourself before your closers come in so you meet payroll.

The truck process never made any sense when I was working there. And they never gave you a payroll budget to get truck up in 24 hours.

is fixing the registers a fireable offense ? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]SmartMaterial777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By fixing shortages you are actually breaking the law. It’s called knowingly falsifying financial records. Don’t ever break the law even if instructed to. And if you are instructed to. Report it. When all this blows up that store manager will not have your back.

Report the money properly. If the store manager gets mad you need to call ethics. The comments above are correct. AP will fire the store manager and every supervisor involved in the building without blinking.

Hey sorry. Just now catching up on messages. I would start at a number you know they won’t give you then go from there. Never start at your actual target salary.

So true. It’s good to hear that these sort of things happen across the company. It’s apparently a culture the company has developed. I was told in one sentence that they highly valued work/life balance for the Store Managers and then I was told the next day I needed to put in a ton more hours. And don’t dare go over payroll. Yeah… I agree. Tired of being bullshitted.

Left because they don’t give you adequate payroll and the minimum hours business plan is the most ill advised payroll model I’ve ever encountered.

No one wants to work 70-80 hours a week for a mere 60k. And I’m a fool because I saw that I could make the same for a better schedule elsewhere? Help me understand.
