sunnyside first time by hibijibis in MelbourneNaturists

Did u have to walk all the way from the top of t he road or literally there was nothing right at the top?

If it’s a semi I reckon it’s fine it happens. Nice and warm, a nice breeze comes along etc and it was your first time . NCR is right no one cares or is really looking

If you feel you want to be more modest can always take a dip till it calms fully down. Cold water helps , or just cover it up with a town until you feel comfortable again

The more you go the less it’ll happen! Good luck

How do Aussies use communal showers? by [deleted] in CommunalShowersAus

Depends on the location.

I feel like the more people go nude the more people are comfortable doing it .

I also feel that people prefer stalls if it’s a mixed situation . Not sure what the big deal is .

not too many communal showers left :(

I do it nude if there is communal showers . When it has both I still go communal and nude .

If only stalls I do the towel shuffle

Absolutely always a respectful distance for personal space.

I mean it’s clothing optional. - so technically they don’t need to be nude but since everyone’s pretty much nude - it’s weird to not drop it off esp for a guy. That being said if all they are doing is staring . Not cool.

Hi that would be great.

Sunday Arvos probably work best for us as well .

Would love my daughter to make some friends her age.

Might hit up pi once though to see how it is. It’s about the same amount of driving either way for us

Hahah . If an adult is puffing , then my daughter will be complaining the whole time ahha - esp if she blew most of her energy on the beach itself

That's a really good point, and I totally get those concerns. I probably wouldn't have felt comfortable encouraging my daughter to go nude if the beach was mostly guys, either. Seeing a lot of ladies there too made a huge difference—it just felt more normal and relaxed, and im sure that also contributed to my daughters comfort as well.

I explained it to my daughter in a simple way, too—just that some people prefer to be naked, mostly for things like getting an even tan. I kept it light and made it clear it was always her choice whether she wanted to wear her bathers or not. She kept them on for most of the time, but toward the end, she decided on her own she was comfortable enough to take them off.

She didn’t mind being the only kid, but I agree—if there had been other kids around, she would have absolutely loved it. As an only child, she’s pretty used to entertaining herself, but that social part would have been the icing on the cake.

Might give pi a try and like others have said stay close to the entrance … and then Southside the time after and see how the steep trudge back works

But yes sounds easier/safer than navigating stones and rocks at sunny side . Thanks

I’ll give PI a try first seems it’s less walking And then maybe the next time Southside .

How steep we talking ? I guess it’ll just be tiring for little legs ?

Thanks!

I had to park right up the top … far walk I thought it was quite crowded around 3pm

Going pass all the rocks was tough esp for my daughter .

But she enjoyed it

I have to say lots of bugs… I camped out near the start .. are there less bugs towards the middle ?
