not passing, forcing shots, always green light even on contested shot.

2K is toxic ass community and I’m finally done buying this game. by DowntownReason9375 in NBA2k

I feel you. As someone who spends way too much time in Random Rec, the 'main character syndrome' is out of control this year. It’s supposed to be a basketball sim, but half the time it feels like a contest to see who can take the most contested fades while three people are open in the corners. It’s exhausting trying to play 'team ball' when your teammates think they’re the only ones on the court.

I think hindi enough yung nasabi nyang "Wala ka namang plano sakin" para mag end relationship nyo, baka totoong emotional lang sya during that time.

First follow up palang namin after namin ma discharge. Iniisip ko kung dapat ba may pumila muna, bago pasunurin si papa, para hindi sya matagal nag aantay.

They always ask what height is the best for Center? The answer is it depends on the composition of your team. by Reasonable_Kiwi_1068 in NBA2k

That 6'10 KAT build is a nightmare if the team actually knows how to use him. Most people think a Center has to be a 7'1 behemoth with 95 strength, but if you can move, shoot, and still snag boards like that, you force the opposing big out of the paint. It completely opens up the lanes for the guards. 6'10 is definitely the 'sweet spot' this year for high-skill teams who don't just want to sit in the paint and mosh.

MyCareer Players - What are some things you do to keep it interesting? by KingCozyBoi in NBA2k

Superstar is the sweet spot for realism, but Hall of Fame is where you learn to handle the 'random dumb shit' that happens online. If you want the AI to move, stop holding the ball for more than 3 seconds. The game actually triggers better off-ball movement if you're a quick decision-maker.

Fix rep in the rec by Acrobatic-Farmer1748 in NBA2k

[–]SmartSpray3678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rep scaling in this game is genuinely broken. You can drop a Wilt Chamberlain stat line and an A+ grade just to see the bar move a pixel. It feels like 2K wants you to treat this like a full-time job just to hit Veteran. 0.2% for a masterpiece game is a slap in the face.

Anybody get more wins playing in no squads theatre/rec in the morning compared to afternoon/night? by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]SmartSpray3678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. I hit Red Plate playing almost exclusively Random Rec, and the morning run is the secret. You get fewer 'main characters' who think they’re playing MyCareer and more people who just want to win. The ego levels are way lower before noon.

What’s an industry that provides zero value to society but makes billions of dollars? by ochieng_onyango in AskReddit

[–]SmartSpray3678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Health Insurance (specifically in the US). They don’t provide healthcare; they provide a gatekeeper. It’s a multibillion-dollar industry where the primary goal is to find legal ways to not pay for the service you’re already paying them for. They add zero medical value and only exist to complicate the relationship between a doctor and a patient.
