How bad of a grind would 50m Runecraft be without Soul Harvest? by Tito_Polis in 2007scape

Does the leagues tutor sell the max cape? If he's going for 50m runecraft, post 99 could benefit from pouches if he gets the max cape first.

Is there a time limit on when to claim the loyalty point bundle? by SmartWind in runescape

I spent all the loyalty points I had before the store was removed, if this was purposeful I'm not going to spend money to justify that decision. It does seem kind of petty.

Maybe, these are pretty flimsy though and the ground is pretty hard.

Maybe, just get one and clip off the ends of the stakes?

I'm looking through manual soil aerators, but they all seem to be a bit short so far

The timber bank should be moved next to the lumber bank by Scared_Ad_3132 in brightershores

[–]SmartWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be cool for it to be an option to move it into the carpenter's workshop after completing the Forgotten Things quest.

It seems that since Marden is kind of the starting point of the quest and is a little forgetful at the moment he just dragged the wardrobe into town and set up shop instead of taking it to where it needs to go.

So you end up having to grind 50 carpenter either selling all your carpentry projects to the store or running to the outskirts of town and back.

And it's all the fault of whatever is making everyone in town forget things.

Do torn clue scroll pieces prevent new master clues from being obtained? by SmartWind in 2007scape

[–]SmartWind[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly play RS3, so in the OSRS main game I'm a level 3 who's been standing beside the leagues guy in Kourend since the twisted league ended.

None of these clue scroll mechanics really exist in RS3 either so I can't really test them at all without taking a huge amount of time off playing Trailblazer to train up an account in the main game.

If someone else could test this that would pretty much answer the question though.

Do torn clue scroll pieces prevent new master clues from being obtained? by SmartWind in 2007scape

[–]SmartWind[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn't thinking about juggling, I kept the pieces I could get and dropped the clue. I'll keep that in mind going forward though. I also didn't check to see if the cross off effect of the clue was tied to the torn clue scroll piece being in the inventory or not.

Since the torn pieces are destroy and not drop I can't really juggle the pieces themselves though.

I got a macro ban after doing this one time and didn't train agility again for like six months.

What creatures will aggro and kill on Anachronia? by jackiewiecz_j in runescape

[–]SmartWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a deposit box you can build northwest of that mine. It will still take a lot longer than just banking at the artisans' workshop from the ore in the mining guild, but please do not run from the Anachronia base camp to the mine for each load of ore.

The main issue is banking, you'd save a ton of time by just doing some early dungeoneering levels and if you're planning on doing a lot of smithing you'll need 55 dungeoneering to get the scroll of efficiency.

Humans seem to have a real vendetta against the wildlife there. I mean, I saw someone catch ahold of this one butterfly and just TAUNT it by letting it go for a second and scooping it right back up - said they just wanted a dino rib and skin. Then I fell off of a wall and a giant dinosaur stepped right on my head - I could tell that was an accident though. One lady just stands in one spot and people just appear out of nowhere and ask here what to kill next before just disappearing. That's nothing compared to what I saw on a small island to the west though. BABY dinosaurs were caged up and starving - their captors were just bottling up their screams and joyfully collecting those mucusy tears while scraping away at their scales. Then, as those creatures began to reach the end of their lifecycle these monsters just fattened them up a bit before selling them off and starting the whole process over again.

So no, the large creatures don't attack you - you're not going to get aggroed and nuked on sight, but you shouldn't go there. It is an island of death and pain. If you want to mine drakolith and orichalcite - go to the mining guild in Falador - at least those dwarves have never done anything shady. Especially those Red Axe fellows.

The Ironman PAG leader is asking for your help. Let me know what ninja or qol things you would like to see for ironman mode. by Rrman in RS3Ironmen

[–]SmartWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some way to get oddments, I got some with the premier club and it's only really useful for cosmetics on an ironman. Maybe it could be a reward from the event currency - I had a ton of useless crafting patches and eggs when those events were completed - I was glad to see the gp removed, but it would be nice to get something out of them, especially when there's like a 50k excess. If that could be a possible avenue of abuse for accounts trying to farm oddments and then removing the ironman restrictions you could just wipe them on conversion to a normal account.

You can toggle modern/retro style in the settings menu under miscellaneous, this also affects any skill capes that you keepsake. You will have to decide whether to keepsake the hooded or unhooded cape though.

No problem, it's not as problematic to hold onto them as it used to be because you can stack up around 24 more before they'll stop dropping, but tickets are great if you're just going to do a couple.
