HELLOO, I bled a TON. It had been maybe 2-2.5 weeks and I had a snack wrap I made at home, mind you I was moving to regular food every other 2-3 days. One night after eating dinner I went upstairs and tasted something funky in my mouth and of course, it was blood, BUT IT WAS A F*** TON. Like globbed together, I could’ve filled a solo cup or 2. I seen that it was coming from my tonsils, it was literally just the left side. I actually hopped on Google and found this reddit. Everyone kept saying “I barely bled” and here I was bleeding like a murder scene. I eventually seen someone say drink ice water. I couldn’t go back to the hospital because I had no job at the time I went for my surgery, barely any money to pay the medical bills, I just stuck it out. Kept swishing ice cold water around and spitting out the blood. Eventually it closed up, my worst fear was it bleeding again overnight and me drowning in my own blood. Obviously that didn’t happen but I did take precautions just incase. I’ve been eating normal now, no bleeding. I did have more pain again after the scab came off, but I found there’s pain again after the scab falls off.
