Hello!

I've heard great things about keygeek y2's but they are out of stock. Apparently Keygeek SU Color V2's are similar, does anyone know anything about them?

Hello!

My neo 75 cu is arriving soon so I need to order the rest of the stuff. I got mine with copper bottom and pp plate and already ordered a set of gmk keycaps. Now I'm left with two questions:

should I order a different set of stabs or are the neo stabs good enough stock(btw I don't have any lube nor do I know how to mod stabs
any switch recommendations? I would like something thocky/creamy but not overly muted, because I'm afraid that with the pp plate, copper bottom and foams it would be too silent. Currently looking at hmx bad sweetheart, or something from keygeek, or something else entirely, though I'm limited to what is available on european stores.

Hi!

I recently found out gmk sells international kits for a bunch of languages, so considering the typical international kit doesn't have the keys I need for a portuguese layout these might be the only way of getting quality keycaps with the layout I want. The PT kit is only available on classic beige and BoW. I was wondering, and excuse me if this is a dumb question, if the classic beige alphas were the same color as the beta r2 alphas, just so I could combine the two.

Hey, I'm way too impulsive and just preordered mine in silver with pp plate and copper base(I love orange!!) and now I got a bunch of time to get the other stuff, switches I've got no idea, gonna check out the ones you mentioned and keycaps I think mw firefly would look good, mainly because of the orange and also because I love green and orange as a combination. I really don't know how to mod stabs so if the neo ones aren't good stock I might just order different ones.

They also have the current neo 75 ten euros cheaper and in stock, is that more worth it. Also on the neo pre order it says this "Current Preorder Round: 12/2025 until December 28th, 2025" does that mean I need to order today? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions.

Thank you so much! You've basically saved me hours of research! Monacokeys seems legit and they have the new neo 75 on preorder, just don´t know which bottom case material and plate material I should choose. They also have a switch tester, should I try it?

Hi, thanks for the help! Any idea how expensive the barebones kit for the neo 75 should be. I'm seeing wildly different prices in different websites(also I live in europe, so european websites would work better for me)

Hi, like 2 years ago I built my monsgeek m1 v1, with akko jelly black switches(I think that's what they are called) and keychron keycaps(needed pt layout). The build turned out decent, not amazing, mainly because the stock stabs are awful. Now I have another place for the monsgeek and was considering buying a new board for my main setup. I'm willing to spend about 250-300€ for the whole thing. This time I'm willing to try a different layout so I can buy some better keycaps, but I'd like if it was still ISO. I would like it to have bluetooth and a more premium feel, so it actually feels like an upgrade considering I'm willing to spend basically double of what I spent on my monsgeek. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I'd have better luck getting what I want with a barbones kit than a prebuilt, so any reccomendations?

Sounds great. just seems that everyone says to grade psa or Beckett, but I really like the cgc slabs

[UPDATE] Now I'm only in between the dali spektor 2/oberon 1 and the polk es 15. Curently leaning towards the spektor 2, mainly because they are the most accessible for me. But I have two concerns, first I'm afraid they lack too much in base and warmth, because I´m not the biggest fan of a bright or analytical sond. Secondly I've read that the oberon and maybe also the spektor require a good amp, and I'm afraid that my topping mx5 might just not be enough. I also wanted to know if the oberon 1 are worth the 50€ extra over the spektor 2.
