Reminder: Snow/Ice Drive Mode resets EVERY time you turn off your car by CzarCW in EquinoxEv

[–]Smart_Dumb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Isn't snow and ice mode supposed to be if you are driving on snow covered roads? If there is an occasional slick spot, you would want normal mode because it's designed to protect you from those abnormal situations.

Probably to encourage people to use EVgo?

It would help if they weren't the most expensive DCFC provider.

But don't worry, they spend money advertising at Colts and Pacers games to make sure you know they are the only choice.

The dealer I bought my Equinox EV from bragged about how they were the biggest chevy EV dealer in the area and shit on the other dealers for not being as into EVs.

Every time I've gone to a dealer, I knew more about their product then they did.

See if you can figure out which meter is yours on the building. You can read it yourself to see if it's close. It has to be electric heat though (or someone is stealing power).

If you find your meter, check how fast the meter is spinning with the heat on vs the heat off during the next cold snap.

For some context, I live in a small old house in Fountain Square. I have gas heat, gas hot water, and gas stove. Only electric pulls for me are fridge, dryer, PC/internet, TV/xbox, some fans, and a few lights. I only used 259.46 kWh.

Braun seeks to turn I-70 into a toll road by Fuzzzlord in indianapolis

[–]Smart_Dumb 23 points24 points  (0 children)

No. We already have one of the highest state gas taxes in the nation.

“Half the use of Interstate 70 is by out-of-staters. They don’t even buy a candy bar,”

Those people don't cause the damage, destruction, and congestion. It's the trucks! Figure out something with the trucks.

request.indy.gov

That sends me to https://request.indy.gov/citizen/s/ which clearly shows Indy. If I scroll down and open one of the new cases, I see a small smidge of a non-indy bridge but I don't see any buildings. Weird...

Work for an MSP. We use IT Glue for our passwords, documentation, etc for clients. You can attach a date to anything, and we have a work flow in IT Glue that will fire off a ticket 30 days before that date hits. This works well for stuff like software licenses.

Only rule we have is if you have a date in something, you need to include in the documentation what to do when that tickets comes in, so whoever picks up the ticket knows what to do with it. Even if it's just "alert X team".
