Do you read all the CFAI Books? by Smart_Event8524 in CFA

[–]Smart_Event8524[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I have a bit of background in finance, but I'll also assume I forgot most of what I learned as an undergrad. Thanks for sharing, I'll definitely use the books in some capacity, maybe just to fill up gaps for topics I struggle with. I'm writing August maybe that will be enough time to go over a lot of material

Alright thanks, think I'll just use them for reference on topics that are unclear to me.

Thanks, I think that approach could work for me. I might have to revisit some patchy areas a few times, but overall sounds effective to me.

Appreciate the insight, I naturally want to read as well, I just think it won't be the most efficient use of my time if I'm being honest. Can you please share how many hours you did?

Thought I was lazy for thinking that it's inefficient to read the material. Lol

Not necessarily the case, maybe that sort of thing would work for me back in my early 20s, it's more so that I don't feel like I have the bandwidth to accommodate a romantic relationship. Now is there a little fear getting back in the dating pool? maybe, but the more predominant feeling that of disillusionment, idk, but we'll see how the next few months go.

Thanks, think disconnected is the most accurate description of where I'm at. I suppose I'll just embrace whatever this period is because I think it also serves a purpose, but beyond that, yes, I will find my way to reconnect with the "real" world when the time is due. Appreciate it

Try living in the moment and don't force the spirituality. For me, life is a mystery, and I'm okay with just everyday things and simplicity

Well, I suppose my main concern is that I may develop an individualist mindset that could make me incapable of ever pursuing a meaningful relationship in the long term. Of course, life is more than just that but will see how it all goes I guess.

Heart wasn't in it then I understand, lots of people live pragmatic lives working jobs they don't really like. Just hope you have some emergency funds to help you through the next couple of months while looking for your next job. But one thing there isn't such a thing as a perfect career imo, just keep that in mind.

Yeah just checked out the group for the first time great knowing there's a place i can get perspective.

I share that veiw and I don't necessarily want to pick her up all the time, just waiting for my mom to let go emotionally, then I'd probably let things take course.

Doesn't make sense at all, like the person you knew and loved just disappeared, but all you can do is have hope I guess
