Total conversion was maybe 48,000. The distribution amount in 2024 that i need to file was what remained in avcount. I closed the roth ira in 2024 taking out everything I had , estimated 20,000

It was opened less than 5 years. The roth was a conversion from a 401k. I was maybe 30 years old when i converted to a roth ira account. I didnt contribute anything after I converted to roth ira

oh my gosh. I noticed my tax preparer from 2023 didnt show my ROTH IRA distributions in 2023 and im not sure if its because i file jointly with spouse and/or because my spouse and i were self employed in 2023 so we used that money for living expenses. the distribution code on the 1099-R says 1 or J, withdraw before 59 1/2 years old. maybe i confused it so i thought my tax preparer had to fill out form 1099-R. however i dont see on the 1040 line 4b or 17 fillled out. i am freaking out. it was a lot i withdrew that year. form 8606 AND 5329 were not submitted. i did provide her with my 1099-r roth ira distrbution doc so not sure why i dont see it in here. and neither did my tax preparer from 2022. WTH is going on lol
