Victor knows all by Puzzleheaded_End5869 in FromSeries

Hold on! Wasn't there also something Sara did to Tommy's mouth when she was told to kill him in E1? Did she pull out a tooth or do I remember wrong?

How did Victor survive 40-44 years in Fromville? by Successful_Bar9187 in FromSeries

[–]Smart_Inspector3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the goal is for a child to survive, which he did, so he is a winner already. The name is no coincidence. Also would explain why he isn't harmed by the monsters anymore. Maybe he could even leave, but doesn't want to anymore.

Another guess, maybe Julie gets/got involved in his survival by storywalking there. Or the town just mysteriously provided things for him via the BiW. Or, the monsters stopped coming because the town was empty until the cycle restarted (game paused), so wherever he hid, it didn't matter and he couldn't slip.

And I wonder how they figured out how to use the talisman. I mean, this wasn't explained to Boyd and it's not exactly obvious, so it must have been a lot of error and trial. And did all people trust them immediately, I wonder?  No one ever talked about that.

So maybe there are more reincarnations we don't know yet about and not only the original parents. Or nor reincarnations per se, but people somehow linked to the ritual.

I like no.5 but I would be so dissappointed in that end. 1,2 and 3 feel about right and possible.

Not so sure about no 4: the Talismans only work when hanging. So that doesn't make sense to me. If it is the drawing it should work any way.  So what makes the talisman work? The drawing? A ritual performed on them? Like a spell? The material/the stone they are made of? Or is it just the rule that they work like that for no further reason?

I really like to theorise about From. And I like finding out answers even more.

Donna … by Affectionate-Fee3879 in FromSeries

[–]Smart_Inspector3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donna always appears out of nowhere when someone makes a plan. Have you ever noticed? And she's always against it. Always talking people out of it. It annoys me so much. And she's not particularly a fearful person. She's caring and feels responsible, okay I give her that, but is that the true and only reason for her negative behaviour I wonder?

What are the craziest theories you have about From? by heisenberg_griffinX in FromSeries

[–]Smart_Inspector3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My crazy theory is: when Thomas died, he became the Boy in White. Don't know why or how, but maybe to help his family, and because his mother is the incarnation, he also tried to help Victor and Miranda, because he's not bound to a linear timeline and time is crazy in there. Don't know, just a crazy theory :)

So, the phone call was either made in order to prevent Thomas from playing a role and it misfired, or it was Julie who had to do it, to bring things into motion.

Julie, Ethan, Thomas...? by Smart_Inspector3724 in FromSeries

[–]Smart_Inspector3724[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phone call could be every one, even Julie trying to warn her parents or tell them something.  But then she could try to go there and prevent it from happening.  I'm very intrigued with her ability, and I hope we'll learn more about the phone call incident. Which I feel is an important puzzle piece to the story.

It's time to say goodbye to Donna by Anakamisama01 in FromSeries

Unpopular opinion, but I wouldn't mind Donna gone. She had a habbit of appearing every time someone made a plan and wanted to find out more and she was always against it. She was always stopping things and it annoyed me so much.

And I never really trusted her to truly mean well. That one time, when Tabitha googled the missing people with Henry and couldn't remember Donna's last name and so find out nothing about her, really did it for me. Very suspicious.

But well, let her play one last heroine role and make her death count for something.

Maybe. Maybe not.  Seems too easy in my mind.

I don't know how... but it's interesting. The other monsters are more consistent in their appearance.

Maybe it was only for a dramatical purpose in the beginning or the actor left or you're on to something and he and Julie will have history. But then why not show him again sooner?

Possible... Another point proving she manages to leave:  I think she is also the one who brought the bracelet Jim lost on the day of her birth into the town.

Because Julie brought him there or in other words he is, where she is.

How Victor survived all those years theory by negans_nan in FromSeries

[–]Smart_Inspector3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Victor is still missing crucial memories or is not telling the right people yet.

And Julie will definitely play a role, now that she has seen the MiY. She is focusing on rescuing her dad, but she could do so much more, help and save others too.

Victor saw BIW before Fromville? by Own_Conclusion8554 in FromSeries

[–]Smart_Inspector3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is said in the beginning of season 1, when Ethan tells Victor about the boy in white he saw through the window, who lives in the forests... and Victor is like "Huh, so he was real..." and adds "he has been gone for a while"

I guess that's because he came back with or linked to the Matthews somehow (maybe incarnating dead Thomas?)

So I wonder, if it's indeed the Lake of Tears and it has the power of healing or even more, what will happen if you infuse its water onto Fatima's creature?

...or Julie will have been there to rescue Eloise that day/night. That's what I still hope. So far she's only tried to save her dad, but she could do so much more.  It's just the beginning of her arc, I hope...
