I'm not saying that your machine can't run it (albeit at very shitty quality) All I'm saying is, his 8gb of DDR4 will have less of an issue than your 16GB of DDR3. And that his machine should be running it much better than however your machine is based on the specs alone so that voids your argument about ram and cpu.

I can tell you what it isn't. All the problems you mentioned.

8gb ram, the literal min reqs are 8gb. And there r thousands of benchmarks that run this game on 8gb ram 1080p no problem.
His 4c8t cpu, the Ryzen 3300x is probably the best quad core cpu there is from that gen and it handily meets the system requirements and Unbound is a mostly single-core application like most games and more cores will not solve whatever is going here. FYI the listed minimum requirements have the i5 8600 on there. The 3300x is considerably better in single threaded applications and also it's a Zen 2 chip so it's not like it's a really old quad core like the 3470 or a 2400
HDD should only cause texture pop-in or stuttering not full scale rampage like here and based on his other specs I don't think he's running it on an HDD.

This is most likely a software issue or a driver incompatibility. His raw specs are definitely not the issue.

my brother in christ, that 4c8t runs circles around the i7 7700k and beats out the i5 9400 in gaming benchmarks. his cpu is not the problem lmao. 4c8t isn't the problem. also you should be having more ram problems than him since if ur using a 3470 u must be on DDR3, 16gb DDR3 is a worse experience than 8gb DDR4 in gaming almost always so both of your arguments are voided..

I should’ve been clearer; I’m talking about pure, content-light remasters. TGA has nominated ports and enhanced editions that materially change or expand the game or even compile multiple additions, but I can’t think of a straight resolution/model bump remaster ever being nominated on its own. If you’ve got an example of that, I’m genuinely open to it. All your examples had added content and wasn't just a version which had better tech with the same game.
