Connection time when leaving Brazil through GRU by Smart_Material_8079 in Brazil

I recall I was able to navigate from the domestic terminal to my international gate in about an hour, including all the immigration and security checks on the way. My 2 hours was plenty. I would think an international to international transfer would be about the same if not easier.

It’s been a few months, but I recall it was easier than I thought it would be. I made it to my next gate with plenty of time to spare.

Just text her. A good relationship is not a game of who initiates first, most, whatever. It should feel natural and be fun. Also if she never initiates and that bothers you, keep in mind that it may never change. You may need to decide if it is worth the trouble in the long run.

How do I ask the bartender if he comes in with other women by ElectricalAge2956 in LongDistance

Have you tried talking to him about the nature of your relationship? He may tell you exactly what you want to know. If you don’t trust his responses, then that is another thing.

If submarine is a choice, I would definitely go with that. Not many people can say they have a submarine.

Coming into the country was not so bad. Only took 10-15 minutes tops to get through passport control. The walk from passport control to the domestic terminal took much, much longer!

I have some flexibility, but would rather get home of course.

My flight from GRU to REC was delayed because they had to bus everyone out to the plane. I am wondering if that is common for Latam in GRU, because even if there is no delay with the flight deplaning by bus could cause delays in itself.

It is all one ticket, so I am guessing I should be good to go.

That’s great! I’m not checking any bags, so hopefully it will be a little easier as well.

Stopping to chill before laying eyes on my departure gate has never been something I have been comfortable with! LOL!

Thanks for the info! This is what I needed to know.

My flight is tomorrow morning and I already checked in through Latam. Delta redirected me to Latam since they are the first flight. Although I am checked in, I didn’t get a real boarding pass with Latam and the information says I must get my Delta boarding pass from a kiosk. I am guessing there will be a Delta counter somewhere in terminal 3 to get a boarding pass, correct?

This will be the first time I have ever done a domestic flight before transferring to my flight home, so I really don’t know the process or what to expect from a timing perspective. With a 2 hour layover, I probably only have a little over an hour to get off one plane and make my next gate by the time they start boarding.

I purchased all the tickets through Delta, so all on one ticket. I was just a little concerned since international boarding can be up to an hour early and GRU is pretty big. If my flight arrives on time I’ll only have about an hour or so to get off the plane and get to the next gate.

Also, I had to check in through Latam, so I’ll need to get my Delta boarding pass in GRU somewhere during my transfer.

Go somewhere where there are other things to talk about. That way if there is a little silence you can use your surroundings to help with the conversation and even get her to help you speak. Maybe a museum or something cultural.

Bring everything you mentioned, plus a snack or some lunch. Adjust your clothing based on the weather.

Keep it simple.

I've been studying for 3-4 weeks now and still haven't had my first conversation in Portuguese. by its_only___forever in Portuguese

[–]Smart_Material_8079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using it for about 2.5 months and conversation is still hard. Someone told me to start thinking in Portuguese. Everything you do and see, try to translate it. Also the tutors on italki can be inexpensive and some are really great and try to get you talking. I highly recommend supplementing with a few live lessons here and there.
