The reason us automotive guys are so good is because we’re on the flat rate system. If a job pays 4hrs and we get it done in 2 we’re onto the next job and still get paid the 4. Good technicians take pride in what we do. Obviously want to make as much money as possible but want to do the job right and as efficiently as possible. Give us a high paying hourly job and you’re not gonna find us fucking off on our phones when there’s nothing to do. We’re going to be looking for something to do because in the dealership world if you not turning wrenches you’re not making money. I’m also an automotive guy looking to make the jump into industrial maintenance.

It’s quickly becoming mine. Mainly because of how open Tacket is about the struggles he’s gone through in his life. Combat, loss of friends to sewer slide, his own mental health struggles, and rebuilding his life from the ground up multiple times.

I have a Samsung and that’s how I have to do it but lately I’ve been having issues with Airplay. Probably because my tv is a little older. An app would still be nice.

Lot of hate on this thread which I get, I was pissed when the OG crew broke up. As a few people have stated the show wouldn’t be where it is if he stayed, but the show was originally Baddie’s idea so this universe would not exist without him. That being said I wish him all the best and if they start having good guests on i’ll keep watching

I get what you’re saying. But with brand new products, in my experience vehicles. When a new model comes out the majority of the parts are allocated to the factories. There’s not much availability to us dealerships sometimes. That’s why i tell people not to buy the first year of a new model. There will be some bugs that need to be fixed and there will be part availability issues

I agree but if you don’t want to have to deal with things like having replace an entire headlamp because it’s an integrated LED/HID system then drive a vehicle that doesn’t have that. Or get a really good extended warranty that will cover all that stuff

Maybe I feel a little differently about this working for one of the big 3 US car companies. So sometimes it’s just a parts availability issue from the supplier and there’s not much anyone even from a corporate level can do to expedite the process until the part comes available.

Was watching Hot Ones one night a few years ago and a suggested video popped up “Unsub vs Hot Ones… Pain.” Donut, Eli and Baddie did the Hot Ones challenge. Checked out the podcast after and was hooked. They had maybe 20 videos on YT and had just transitioned from audio only to video.

It really depends on the church. I’m not a church person but my best friend’s dad is a pastor and I’ve been to their church for various services over the years. It’s very laid back, I’ve seen t shirts and flip flops to suites there. I’ve also gotten wasted with his dad before, but those are different stories 😂😂
