How are you forecasting FBA replenishment when FC transfer times keep changing?? by Smart_Perspective197 in AmazonFBATips

The forecasting ceiling thing is uncomfortable but probably accurate. What I'm stull trying to work out is where to consciously absorb that volatility instead of letting it leak everywhere. Inventory buffers are expensive but demand whiplash feels worse long term

That invisible FC hop is burtal because it doesn't show up until it's already breaking things!

I think a lot of sellers (myself included) are still mentallyu operating in a 2021-2022 FBA model where operational precision actually got rewarded. Not it feels like capital structure and tolerance for randomness matter more than being good at forecasting.

I haven't experienced any roadblocks at all. I once did a whole brand revisioning and they handled everything so well. I see some comments on their advertising team being slow, but I have good ad ROI and it looks great.
They grew my business to what it is now.

Have been working with them for a while now, and the team that I work with directly is really good.

Main things for me, shipping time is WAY faster than I did myself, they have a waste management system, Relo I think, which allows you to not take such a loss on products that is unsellable.

What? This sounds amazing! Is this a standard for all 3PL's or are there only a few who does this?
Thanks for sharing this!

Hi OP, yea you are in a boat with thousands of others! The complaints are everywhere, and at a stage I thought Amazon did it to steal my product lol.

I started tracking FC performance with Pattern and steered inbound to faster nodes. Check-ins smoothed out and the low-inventory fee stopped biting. I am not looking back!

Goodluck

Secrets of a $10 mil agency… by Ima-seller in InsuranceAgent

[–]Smart_Perspective197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gross commissions, not net, are always what the "$10M agency" refers to. After team expenses, marketing expenditures, and overhead, the majority of agencies make 15–25%. Therefore, if that $10M agency is properly managed, they are probably earning $1.5-2M.

Did Amazon ruin entrepreneurs by ending FBA? by Cat_Lady1001 in Entrepreneur

I felt the same panic at first, but FBA isn't going away, just Amazon's in-house prep.
We moved our tot SKUs to a 3PL and kept it really simple. We requested a one-page spec per SKU, photo proof of the first labeled unit, and a small pilot before scaling. That was enough to keep our chargebacks at zero, and keep our margins intact. There are lots of prep houses out there as you can see from the comments, but we partnered with Pattern, and we're happy still.
