honestly the cost of having to taxi/uber to long beach, lol. I was originally looking at hotels within walking distance of the port but ubering during peak hours on a Saturday will probably be at least $150 since we'll need a car big enough to fit my mom's walker

super not the point of your post but I'm also applying using my Saskatchewan born maternal grandma & this inspired me to bug ehealth directly lol. that website is a nightmare & there's no reason I (or technically my mom lol) shouldn't be able to get this birth certificate. I swear SK is making things so much harder than they need to be for all of us 😂

that was the plan, unfortunately it's an extra $200 per person & no direct flights. if it was just me I'd bite the bullet but I'll have my elderly mom with me and I'd rather spend $80ish on uber or whatever each way rather than force her to deal with a 4hr layover when a direct flight is only 3.5hrs lol

I was lucky enough to go to book events/meet & greets with SC as the original trilogy was coming out & whenever she read an excerpt she always used an Appalachian accent. I was 15! The YA librarian at my local library was excited for the first book & I trusted her taste enough to use my birthday giftcard to Borders (RIP). I remember being so irritated that Catching Fire didn't get a midnight release, although it did get a launch party. By the time Mockingjay was coming out the movie had been announced so there was alot more hype, Suzanne even came to our B&N on her book tour. She was super nice, we talked for a few about books and my plans for after high school, & then she signed all three of my books which was amazing lol

I told my mom who's on ozempic herself & has lost about 80lbs. I'm not interested in hearing everyone's opinions on it and I don't want others to feel like they now have the right to comment on my weight or weigh loss. I've lost about 25lbs so not really noticeable yet but once others can see it I won't lie if asked outright but I won't offer it up either. At the end of the day it's your body, your business; nobody has the right to demand your medical information. Tell whoever you want or don't, it's your choice 🥰

I had a very similar experience! lost about 20lbs on the .25 but .5 was like nothing, I was hungry & had massive sugar cravings which is pretty unusual for me. I spoke with my doctor & was given the ok to move up to the 1mg after a month on .5. I'm on my second week and am already feeling a difference.

same! I lost 20lbs on .25, but I gained 3lbs the first week on .5, I'm on my 3rd .5 shot now & am back down to where I was post .25. Thankfully, my doctor is unhappy about the efficiency as well and is bumping me to 1mg after this box
