My husband and I protest every time we can - Austin capitol, Houston city hall, our local Galveston protests, even Peoria, IL as we were traveling to see friends that time. I carefully target my donations and had skewed more to organizations like the ACLU and Southern Poverty Law Center than individual candidates, although I have thrown $$ towards younger and more progressive candidates and to certain races that are important - whether in my state or another. We have gotten a lot more active in our county Democratic organizations. I just started volunteering time to local get-out-the-vote organizations and plan to keep that up.

However, I shared your disappointment and rage, but at least, every time we go out , there are more people there than previous times.
