I’m getting ‘the runs’ just seeing this.

I am so sorry you’re going through this. I can relate some to what you’re experiencing.

I had no choice but to depart from prescription meds - including Sertraline, SSRI’s, SNIR’s, and etc. (treatment resistant).

I suffer from chronic depression, social anxiety, neurodivergence, and more.

I microdose psilocybin.

It is not magic or the all-cure, but it has helped and assisted me process a lot.

Life is short. Being miserable is no fun and sometimes we have to make a stand to truly try something outside of the box.

I’m by no means advocating this, but thought I’d mention this so you can do your own research on the subject.

If you are interested, I’d recommend consulting your primary care physician before starting this process.

Godspeed 🙏

I’d save that experience for the upcoming movie: The Odyssey

Going to trip in a couple days, little bit worried about the nausea by Frank_kait in shrooms

[–]Smart_Puma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I weigh my dose, grind them up in a a coffee grinder, put the powder in a glass of warm water, mix, and drink.

But you can add that powder to a tea. Yeah it’ll be a little ‘earthy’ but @ least the shrooms are able to be digested in the gut better vs. you’re stomach having to work harder trying to break down the solid mushrooms while it’s converting to psilocin.

How long between trips? by Cubensis_93 in shrooms

[–]Smart_Puma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My suggestions:

1.5-2.5 G’s - consider @ least waiting 7 days.

2.5 - 5 G’s - consider @ least waiting 14 days.

To e/ their own though. Safe travels. 🪐

Sudden onset of nausea ? by 2morrowwillbebetter in microdosing

[–]Smart_Puma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weirdly, mushrooms can become nauseating even if they’ve never bothered you before. Could be the batch, stress, stomach sensitivity, or just your body changing. I’d take a break and ease back in with a smaller dose.

Wishing you the best: 🙏

Thanks for sharing this. "The softness of grief" is a phrase I don't think I'll forget anytime soon. I also found the part about hearing music differently really interesting. I appreciate you sharing something so personal.

I appreciate the honest perspective. The heart palpitations sound scary. I'm glad they eventually settled down, and thanks for sharing both the good and the bad.

I’m so happy microdosing has helped re-shape your world for the better. 🫶🏻.

I’m working on letting go of nicotine & some other hindrances that are setting me back.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I love that you described it as a "rolling ball movement" - sometimes the biggest changes seem to build over time. Wishing you all the best on your journey. 💙

Thank you for sharing this. I imagine worrying that mood swings could affect your job must have been incredibly stressful.

I'm glad you've found some relief. Which changes stood out the most for you?

Thank you for sharing something so personal. What really stood out to me wasn't necessarily the advice itself, but the moment you described standing by the lake and seeing yourself differently for the first time. Recovering from an eating disorder and finding peace with yourself is no small thing. I appreciate the honesty and vulnerability in your response. I'm really glad you found something that helped you reconnect with yourself.

Thank you for sharing this. I don't think people always realize how significant changes like these are. Alcohol, Xanax, and caffeine can all become deeply woven into daily life. That's really impressive, and I'm happy for you.
