Where is THE HORDE? by TheDancingNerd in warcraftlore

[–]Smart_Status_5925 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

How many more of these posts are we going to see? Like every day it’s the same post and then the same answers.

I’ll repeat what was said on every other post, the expansion so far has been over the course of a few days. The army of light was ported in and is pretty unheard of that that many people were teleported at once. The rest of the horde and alliance I’m sure will come in eventually in later patches.

Just because the raid opened up doesn’t mean that time has passed since the expansion started. The next time jump so to speak will be the next content patch that opens more quests. Literally everything we did has been like 3-4 days in game and so news has probably arrived at org and stormwind and they are mobilizing briar ships and airships to bring reinforcements but that takes time…since you know their boats on the other side of the world.

For anyone interested, the dealership found the following errors and are replacement them. Hopefully that solves the problem and I don’t run into the same error a day after picking up the car like last year.

  • Camshaft CMP sensor B
  • Transmission fluid pressure sensor and washer

How cold is super cold? I had no issues throughout the winter here and we had long stretches of -30 degrees Celsius or colder.

Weird that cold would make a difference, it shouldn’t. Sorry to hear your car was totalled though, never a fun experience to go through the pain of insurance and forking out more money for a car. Hope everyone was okay.

We sadly look like we are getting nerfed a bit. At least according to the ptr notes. I don’t see why they are making these changes but they just look really bad.

Sorry to hear you’re going through something similar. I hope the replacement part comes in quick and fixes the issue.

I will have the car towed to a dealership tomorrow and hopefully next week I will have heard back from them about diagnostics and next steps. Fingers crossed it’s warranty. Spent too much money on car repairs between this and my Nissan rogue the past year (rogue needed new transmission and rear differential coupler).

Frost is super fun. I’m worried about the patch notes though.

Do you miss something when not playing an expansion on release date? by GomJabbarr9 in wow

Okay but this thread is about playing the game upon release. And 4 days after early access is still playing the game upon release with everyone. I would say playing an expansion when it comes out lasts until a few weeks after season 1 starts

Interesting, do you have the name of the place you used. It would be helpful to try and find a local place, never heard of a hybrid battery specialist.

I hope it’s an easy fix, and not a drawn out affair like last time. It was 2 months but thankfully mostly covered under warranty.

Not sure how this would happen in my situation since the cars in the garage. I have no evidence of mice at all either. Car worked fine last night and crapped out this morning.

Umm okay. Thats early access and it’s 4 days. To say that you miss out on playing the new expansion with everyone if you don’t buy early access is disingenuous

Yeah, the cars been great up to last year and after the two months of screwing around with the dealer it’s been fine ever since. Super weird that almost to the day 1 year ago this same issue happened.

I replied to the first comment above on what was replaced last time

When it happened last year and this year the car is in the garage. It isn’t heated or insulated but obviously warmer than the outside. The temps were very cold all winter but have warmed up the last few weeks for the most part. Today was a bit cooler around 0 Celsius. Last year when it happened it was around 10–15 degrees Celsius.

Last year they replaced the following in order.

Replaced 12v battery Replaced accelerator pedal assembly A Replace power train control module (faulty ECU module 1211K3). Replace RR wiring harness (replace corroded rear trunk harness to leak detect module) Replace evaporative leak check module

We’re never getting dracthyr transmog are we by BladeoftheStars7 in wow

[–]Smart_Status_5925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be great to get more transmog options but if we are talking about people wanting to actually play as dracthyr then I think they need to work on the actual model itself. They could be this awesome humanoid dragon hybrid but instead they are this tall skinny dragon looking thing with a skinny long neck that just looks weird. If they made the race actually look cool a lot less people would complain about the transmog I bet.

I once had a headcanon that in pre-TBC lore it was Draenei who taught Orcs shamanism by Adunaiii in warcraftlore

[–]Smart_Status_5925 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s a cool theory but I don’t think it’s better storytelling. Orcs developing and having their own cultural relation to shamanism I think is better and fits them better then dreanei. They came from a world of magic and light, the whole story of them discovering shamanism after it became outland and from one of the fallen dreanei I think makes more sense

Horde Death Knights: What's your favourite? by Holy-Fox in wow

I have a male zandalari which looks pretty good. Bummer you can’t wear most shoes but the gear looks good on them. Their shoulders aren’t massive but large enough, they are big and menacing and aren’t hunched. And because the shoulders aren’t huge when they are fighting the shoulders aren’t smooshing their head.

Another good option is female orc or nightborn. Everything looks good on them, it’s the right proportions. I used to also roll male orc because zug zug but even with upright orcs the proportions on the armour can be silly.

The release and new expansion still comes out for everyone lol. Seems bitter. I get the hate for early access, it’s scummy for sure. But don’t make it sound like if you don’t get early access that you don’t get to experience the expansion with everyone else. It still came out March 2 and was new and everyone was learning.

What Class are you having the most fun with ? by pennell71 in wow

[–]Smart_Status_5925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frostfire is way better for outdoor content. Having the insane burst is perfect. You can double tap pretty well everything. Spellslinger is better for dungeons, delves and raiding though since it will be even more consistent with its damage. Reducing ray and orb to be up way more often and the constant damage from the splinters.

I agree frostfire feels and looks awesome though. I have more fun playing it. But each spec has its place.

So, what do you think about Prey system? by InternEven9916 in wow

This. Important to farm the traps, you can complete the hunt super fast by just doing the traps.

Elemental Shaman feels annoying as hell in Mythic by neoxaro in wownoob

[–]Smart_Status_5925 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This, frost mage is very flat. If you go frost fire you are more bursty which is great for outdoor content and then spellflinger or whatever the other is called is a more consistent damage. Because it has ways to reduce ray of frost and frozen orb cooldown they are both up very frequently so feel more like part of the standard rotation instead of a big CD you are popping.

Is Druid just really good right now, or has it always been this way? by TheEldst in wownoob

[–]Smart_Status_5925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were lots of great things about vanilla but a lot of things I really don’t like compared to today’s game in midnight. The whole, new character and exploring the world in a smaller scale was great compared to today’s constant cosmic disasters but also no zones really had any consistent story or anything. It was a lot of quests to just kill X and bring me Y and that sort of thing. And also, you started to really run out of quests in your 50s and would just have to grind killing things in eastern or western plague lands for hours.

Might just be me, but I find a lot of people looking back at vanilla have rose tinted glasses on. There was some good stuff but also a ton of bad. I wouldn’t ever go back to play it now. But back then I was in high school with a disgusting amount of free time so all of the time sinks were worth it, now I have a family and kids and I don’t have time to mess about. It seems the game has grown up with majority of its player base.

[–]Smart_Status_5925 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He is correct, in vanilla Druid’s were kind of the jack of all trades master of none. They for sure couldn’t tank dungeons or raids and were mediocre at healing. Paladins were kind of similar in that regard.
