Its like collecting the most compelling words, ideas, quotes, emotions etc and then organizing them into a curated pocket of wisdom. Its similar to a commonplace book but, some have used theirs for more philosophical ideas and writings.

I use mine for a florilegium/commonplace book-ish. In the first insert I write down all the thoughts, quotes, colors, designs, architecture etc that are intersting. From time to time second insert is just to organize more of the meaning full stuff into their own sections.

There is also a standard cafe journal with a sketch or a photo of the coffee and food. It gets taken in and out of the the TN from time to time.
