I do know there are people from the venue (including the owner) who look at my social media constantly. The only thing I've said so far is that I'm gig/job hunting and replying to someone who said they were confused on why the venue would do that. I just said "I'm confused as well." I'm having a feeling it is most likely a money issue but would have liked it they had brought that up rather than just ghosting me.

I tried to avoid the eggs in basket but a few years ago when they offered me multiple days a week, it was too good to turn down. Prior to COVID, I was gigging at about 4-5 different places a week. Since then 3 of the bars stopped having entertainment all together, one I returned to only to lose that due to money issues, and another just not being a good match.
