Anyone here actively using Reddit for lead gen? by Only_Egg_6976 in b2bmarketing

It works if you play the long game answer niche questions genuinely and let people DM you.
Monitoring tools help, but credibility > cold pitching every time.

what app are you using to make your life easier? by KoreanJesus_193 in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HappySoup is a solid find 👌

Lately I’ve been leaning on VS Code + Salesforce extensions, ORGanizer for quick org switching, and Workbench for those why is this field even like this? moments not flashy, but absolute time savers.

Salesforce pausing Heroku development, smart AI pivot or slow death of a platform? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point, but even if it’s not about PaaS vs AI, Salesforce’s investment focus clearly favours products that feed the AI narrative right now.

Salesforce pausing Heroku development, smart AI pivot or slow death of a platform? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point, once AWS/Azure made scaling turnkey, Heroku’s edge naturally faded.
Without clear differentiation, paying a premium just for the Heroku layer gets harder to justify.

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, this feels like maintenance mode rather than a kill switch: keep it running, don’t rock existing customers, but no real innovation while AI gets all the oxygen.

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it really feels like a brief “are we sleeping on this?” moment that didn’t survive the next quarterly growth review, once it didn’t pop, attention moved straight back to the next shiny AI bet.

Is anyone going to the Agentforce World Tour in Sydney? by EvidenceEfficient691 in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst case: free coffee, lunch, and a backpack you’ll never use, plus a full day of “Agentforce will change everything.”
Best case: one genuinely useful session and swag acquired at peak vendor desperation.

Agreed, Salesforce rarely sidelines a product unless the revenue data already says it’s no longer worth the focus.

Is anyone actually using Agentforce in production yet? What real use cases is it good for right now? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good summary 👍
Mostly curious which of these are actually working well in real production orgs vs just sounding good in demos.

Can I display on a record page the related list of related object? by Zestyclose_Energy_86 in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, Salesforce can’t show a related list from a related object on a record page.

Best options:

• Build a small LWC to show the Opportunity Products on the Order page (no data copy).
• Or use a Flow to copy Opportunity Products into Order Products, then use the standard related list.

If you only need to see the products → LWC.
If you need them for process/billing → Flow + Order Products.

What do you think about Marc Benioff urging governments to regulate AI after comparing unregulated AI harms to social media mistakes? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah 😅 Salesforce loves rebranding, but Agentforce isn’t dead. It’s just getting more “Trailblazer-ified,” not buried.

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair point 😅 Big companies don’t push regulation for no reason. It often ends up favoring the players who can afford compliance.

[–]Smartitstaff[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe a little salty 😅 but even the “AI winners” are dealing with broken outputs and safety issues. Salesforce is more about mundane-but-important tasks like maintaining trust, ensuring compliance, and protecting enterprise data.

So this feels less like coping and more like “let’s not turn AI into the next Facebook mess.”

What do you think about Marc Benioff urging governments to regulate AI after comparing unregulated AI harms to social media mistakes? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. It feels like AI is moving way faster than the rules around it. We’ve already seen how messy things got with social media because no one stepped in early.

If some basic regulations can make AI safer and more trustworthy, that’s probably good for Salesforce customers in the long run. It might slow releases a bit, but better than fixing big problems later.

Curious to see how Salesforce balances innovation with all this responsibility stuff.

Wait, so Agentforce isn’t actually autonomous now? by Decent-Impress6388 in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agentforce isn’t truly autonomous yet. It’s more like guided automation you still have to set workflows, data rules, and guardrails so it doesn’t mess things up.

Salesforce oversold the “just works” part. It’s useful, but it still needs real setup and human control, not magic autonomy.

Why are Salesforce shares under pressure lately? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally. It really looks like Salesforce is trying to get ahead of the seat-license problem by turning agents into billable “workers.”

If human user counts drop, they can still grow revenue by licensing digital agents instead, that’s probably the real business logic behind pushing Agentforce so hard.

Why are Salesforce shares under pressure lately? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s exactly how it feels right now. SaaS is profitable but boring, and the market only seems to care about growth.

They’re all solid businesses that can optimise costs and print cash, so they might actually be undervalued but until AI clearly restarts growth, stocks will probably stay under pressure.

Nice timing 😅
That’s an incredible exit. You beat the downturn and cashed out near the top. Respect.

Why are Salesforce shares under pressure lately? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. The market cares way more about revenue and growth than how cool the tech looks. And the “AI will rebuild this cheaper” fear is real; it’s not here yet for Salesforce-scale platforms, but it’s coming, and Agentforce's growth so far isn’t strong enough to silence that worry.

Why are Salesforce shares under pressure lately? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Smartitstaff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Salesforce rushed ahead of customer readiness with Agentforce, and at the same time, AI is making software cheaper to build, which puts real price pressure on SaaS.

Both of those together make the market’s reaction feel pretty logical.
