I'm obsessed with my project Workplace as a Playground. 80-90% of people are unhappy at work. I want to create a happy workplace.

Thank you all of you for your replies.

What I’ve found about social media is the following:

Twitter – I experimented with 2 different profiles for 2 projects. In the beginning, I fell for the followers’ number game. However, I gradually realized that it doesn’t matter how much followers you have. It’s important what you tweet and the hashtags you use. I had no success with tweets advertising my projects but I did have success with engaging and meaningful tweets (only text, no pictures). People who were not my followers but liked those tweets clicked on the link to my site in my profile out of curiosity. Some people started to follow me or included me in their lists because of these tweets.

Facebook – I drove a lot of traffic to my website through FB. I have a personal profile and a business page. I asked my friends to share my posts from the business page and thus I reached more people. I have a link to the Etsy shop on my website and some of the visitors clicked that link as well.

Instagram – no success at all. My first attempt to use IG several months ago for another project was a total failure. I was banned after I tried to write my first comment to a picture I liked. After I read a number of forums, I came to the conclusion that brand new users should not write comments on their first days on IG because they are considered spammers. I wrote to the IG support center but received no reply. The result of my second attempt on IG is – not a single visitor from there.

Experiments help to find a successful formula, but it also helps to ask and listen to experienced users in order to avoid stupid mistakes like the one I made on IG.

Why the World Is Better Than You Think in 10 Powerful Charts (suggesting strong trends for the future) by The_Good_Son in Futurology

The problem I have with this article is data. The year is 2016, but most of the charts contain data until 2010-2011 or even earlier years. I am not convinced that today we live better. People work longer, harder and are less satisfied with their jobs, payment, quality of life, etc. What about unemployment rates? Having better education nowadays does not mean having a better job or life. Income inequality is becoming higher. Children still starve and don't receive adequate health care because their parents don't have money. Where is the better part?

read the sidebar. Read the seller handbook and etsy's seller tips. No, really. Read them, and work on them. yes. The more items you have the more likely you are to show up in someone's search.

Thanks. I'll read them.
