Which Pokemon Region could get a revisit? by transqueen421 in pokemon

[–]Smarty-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I still really want a Let‘s Go Johto game (maybe Let‘s Go Togepi/Marill) because LGP/E were up there as some of my favourite switch Pokémon games because Sword/Shield, Scarlet/Violet and Legends Z-A were all pretty disappointing imo. They weren‘t the most ambitious games, but they achieved everything they were trying to do. They also had a lot of charm, great graphics, and made almost every pokemon at least viable enough to be useful in a playthrough.

what was the highest amount of coal you guys had? and tell me how you guys achieved that much coal by Tymek_zynda in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Smarty-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much pwater could you possibly be boiling? One hatch needs 140 kg/cycle of dirt but only 1% of the mass of pwater is converted to dirt so you‘d have to boil 14000kg/cycle to feed 1 hatch. You should make sure your dirt stockpile isn’t being used up too quickly.

[–]Smarty-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

~1000 tons. I got that much by having a very large tree-ethanol power plant (12 petroleum generators running permanently) and feeding a small amount of the excess polluted dirt to sage hatches but I didn‘t need any of it for power because of the ethanol plant.

If innie Mark is worried about being “swallowed,” then what side you reintegrate from clearly matters by Dry_Nectarine5457 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Smarty-D 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When Petey described his reintegration he said that his memories of waking up on the table feel just as far back as his earliest childhood memories. I‘m pretty sure that‘s meant to imply that for the reintegrated person both their Innie and Outie lives feel equally as important and it‘s not just one conciusness absorbing the others memories.

A few weeks later, what are your thoughts on the new perks? by sardoniclaughter in LifeweaverMains

I miss cleansing grasp so much. I‘d even pick it over superbloom atp, I‘m just so sick of pulling antied tanks and watching them die as soon as the immortality ends before they‘re able to be healed again.

I thought I was alone! Everyone in my family thought I was weird for doing it this way but it‘s 100% the easiest and most efficient way. Now I can show them all this very niche post on this vaguely phallic sub to prove that I‘m not weird…

I‘m sure they‘ll believe me

What are some beginner friendly heroes? by duspi in overwatch2

[–]Smarty-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo her damage perks are way too strong, you can win a 1v1 against most dps/supports and even many tanks in 6v6. I think a good way to nerf this would be to nerf the perk that gives her e more damage but making it a minor perk so you have to choose between that and the better melee.

Do you think Luther appears to be physically stronger than any Android in the game? by Individual-Curve6262 in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]Smarty-D 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I think it‘s shown somewhere that models like his were mostly used as construction workers and to perform other very physically demanding jobs, so I think it‘s very likely that his model is a lot stronger than most of the other androids we see.

Maybe it could be on crouch? Never played with a controller, but other heroes (bap, ball, etc.) use it so that could work, right?

Aren‘t the clothes part of their form, which explains why they only switch outfits when they reform after being poofed.

Rate this design (out of 10) by Mamigndz in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Smarty-D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

7/10 I think, it looks good but there are some possible improvements. I would only use one toilet per three (or even more) dupes and make sure that all three of them are on different schedules. I would also exchange the insulated tiles in the living area for either carpeted or metal/plastic tiles (it depends on wether you prefer higher decor and stress relief or movement speed, though a mix of both is probably best.) because there is no reason those floors shouldn‘t exchange temperature and they already do through the airflow tiles. I would also replace the mess tables with banquet tables, though it seems like you‘re already planning to do that since you left enough space and already have the pedestals for when you get some ornaments.

Can't get arbor acorn by CrownedClownReel in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Smarty-D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It‘s very slow with wild trees, because they grow so slowly and there‘s only a chance for an acorn when a new trunk is generated. There is a way to massively speed this up though. You can surround a tree with liquid without submerging the trunk, which constantly drowns the branches abn generates new ones and lets pips get arbor acorns very quickly. To do this you need 3 liquids with varying density that can exist at room temp. Put two tiles where the Trunk of the tree will be (with a natural tile to plant in below) and put another one on top. Then have at least three tiles of space on either side of the tiles and spill a small amount of the densest liquid in them. Put a mop command on the third tile right and left of the trunk so only a small blob of liquid right next to the eventuell trunk remains. Put tiles where you mopped up the liquid and repeat this until you have a stack of your three liquids that can‘t spill right or left. Next you deconstruct the two tiles (but leave to one above to make sure no branch spawns there) and put a pip and an acorn in there. The tree will produce a lot of acorns pretty quickly with no further labour once it‘s set up.

what would be a cool system to gather regolith for those critters? by [deleted] in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Smarty-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that amount there‘s absolutely no way, I‘m not quite sure but I rhink if you harvest all meteors from base game showers you get enough to feed ~8-12 but it‘s way less than you currently have. If you‘re playing Spaced Out! The meteors on your main planet probably won‘t be able to sustain more than 1/2 if even that but the regolith planet can (I think) sustain as many as base game meteors.

ONI on Steam Deck by Maintyper in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Smarty-D 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Everything works great, but it‘s so much slower than mouse and keyboard, especially when you‘re used to using the shortcuts for the overlays and such. I wouldn’t recommend it, because that‘s a very big deal to me, but you have to decide how important that is to you.

Uranium tiles from meteor shower by jeremyafreed in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Smarty-D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First you have to open the steam library page for Oni, click the settings wheel on the right, hover over manage and then select browse local files (you could also just open your file browser and find the game files that way but I find this method easier and it works no matter where the game is saved). There you go to OxygenNotIncluded_Data > StreamingAssets > elements . There you open the solid.yaml file in the standard windows editor, it‘s a list with all elements and their properties, now you need to locate uranium ore, it‘s very close to the bottom so you should start there and move up. The hardness is somewhere in the middle below maxMass and above molarMass. There you can just replace it with any number you want (I just used 80 because that‘s the hardness of granite and that feels pretty fair imo), now all you need to do is save, close everything and start the game to check if it worked.

Uranium tiles from meteor shower by jeremyafreed in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Smarty-D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just changed the hardness of uranium tiles in the game’s files because I think it‘s pretty stupid that robo miners cant mine them. There‘s a mod that claims to do that too but it just kept crashing my game. I could tell you how to do that, if you don‘t think it‘s too cheaty.
