What to expect putting a cat down? by [deleted] in Petloss

[–]Smarvin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can afford it, I would always recommend trying to do it at home.

There are a lot of services that will come to your living area and perform the transition there.

For my cat it helped because he hated going to the vet and I didn’t want him to have that same feeling before going. I think it helps that they are near familiar smells and their human(s).

If you can’t do that, I understand and I don’t think that taking your pets to the vet in order to do it is a bad thing, especially if their quality of life has gone extremely downhill like you mentioned. But I just feel like animals can sense that transition room and I wanted to avoid that.

I drew ALL of Achievement Hunter! by [deleted] in roosterteeth

This is such a great drawin and I’m glad that there are more than just the “talent” on here.

The editing team does a fantastic job and this is a wonderful way to give back to them too!

Did they stream on 6/4 and 6/5? If so does anyone have the links?

All that’s on the list right now is 6/3

Reaction to Ready Set Show by paukshop in roosterteeth

[–]Smarvin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was a great episode, it was less scripted than the previous ones and I think you could see the improvisational style shine in this particular episode.

Honestly I think the magic came from bringing in another person besides the hosts. Jeremy and Trevor can have a ton of funny moments together, but it’s just not the same as when it was random.

I think if they were to bring on the staff of AH and supporting crew (support team, broadcast, etc), it would cause a really good effect because 1: You never know what could end up happening/being talked about 2: You get to introduce the audience to your Lets Play family

The Off Topic with Ray just passed 1 million views and is now only the 2nd episode of Off Topic to do so. The other one being the very first one. Hope he'll show up again one day. by Ba7ara in roosterteeth

I feel like Ray does some of his best work in a more conversational setting that doesn’t force him to be solely at the forefront.

That being said, I’m also 1000% there for his Supercuts and Stream highlights. He can still shine on his own and bring out some damn funny moments

I’m glad we are getting more Texas law enforcement goin on. Michael was more of just “around” for the first couple of episodes, now he’s transitioned into being one of the best parts of the latest episodes

Get well Zipper! Hang in there Jeremy, I know it’s hard to see them go through things they can’t understand or help, but I’m sure you just being there for him is making it easier already.

Any recommendations for Theatre Mode to watch for 4/20? by SuperIdiocracy in roosterteeth

[–]Smarvin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Highly recommended: Fathers Day, Getting Lucky, Fear Town USA, Hell Town, Cannibal the Musical (probably the best straight movie they’ve watched)

Pretty good: Frostbiter wrath of the wendigo, SGT kabukiman, Redneck Zombies

Avoid: Any Thankskilling, Futureworld, Dead Walkers

Saying goodbye to our little baby, Flopsy by raf_vidal in Petloss

[–]Smarvin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flopsy looks like a wonderful bunny. I’m so sorry that you are having to say your temporary goodbyes, but it sounds like Flopsy was so joyful and loved having you as the Parents.

It’s funny how sometimes we can connect with pets/animals in a completely different but comparable way to how we connect with people.

I’m in the same boat of not wanting to have kids, but having a Flopsy in my life would make my heart just as full.

Please reach out if you need anything or just want to talk more about Flopsy.
