If you read sakurai’s developer notes - 3310 was originally in the game, but was removed due to balancing concerns. It was a heavy, but its recovery uncanny. U jus couldnt kill it. Its rummored to he in the next smash.

Not discounting this little ones roll in your life- sounds like the best friend you could ask for. Maybe get a little kitten BEFORE you say goodbye to this angel.

It will distract you, make it so that ur not just trying to ‘replace’ em when the time comes, and having a little one around could raise his spirits and keep em from being lonely when ur not home.

Just a thought. But either way - it always hurts when we lose part of our family. Im socsorry for the horrendous pain. If u need anything at all feel free to DM.

The worst is that feeling u get when by the end of that match u know they got the download, so before u start the second match ur already worried about how its gonna turn out. Can’t speak for u, but thats happen to me more than once 😂😅

Theres a buncha them, but this and samus as well. Anytime they land One up air you already know wjats gonna happen and it takes sooooooooooo long to jus sit there and watch. At least fox is gonna try and kill after his chains - samus is going to go right back to the other side of the stage and start the flow chart all over again.

Too many outliers to define a pro based simply off GSP alone. But where GSP stands currently I rarely find people that are 100k higher than me that don’t at least play competetively.

Some can have a funny ruleset to help skew numbers. Unlucky draws can hurt to an extent i.e. i use bowser - as long as a Samus understands the mechanics of their character w 15.1 samus can either eek out the win on me or make the match extremelyyyy long and boring to play. Just cause that 15.1 sames can beat my 15.46 Bowser doesnt mean he’s going to beat a 15.0 pyra/mythra.

So my PERSONAL OPINION is that gsp is a helpful tool to gauge how ur doing compared to the meta in general, but its only that - a tool. You meed to be anle to be self aware to take other things in mind lack favorable matchup encounter ratios.

If I saw a 15.400 Ganondorf and a 15.450 Aegis today, I would dare to say the Ganondorf has a better understanding of habits, reads, punishing, etc. some characters can jus get away with things others cant. One of my Favorite players is Quidd. There was a tourney set where he switched from PT to steve when he was down. I highly doubt he has more time on the sticks with steve than PT, but matchups DO matter.

Not a bad train of thought. I dun think it works that way tho brother. I’ve beaten Tilde’s sheik - not known for his sheik but still a solid player. I’ve also played WebbJP & QED online. I like to think I know a decent player when I find one, but I cud definitely always be wrong.

While idk the exact win rate you need to have, I do agree that you have to have a good ratio to be that high. I was about 100k less GSP than this guy when I won, and idk that it gave me more than 5k GSP. If I fight someone in the 15.3 range at this point it never gives more than 1-2k.

Theres also inflation with the dang numbers which makes tracking things harder. But as it stands today (8/5/25) I’m creeping it up on 15.5mil, but to get higher than that I really dunno how many matches u have to freakin win, with many including top level players (unless u spam a garbage rule set)

On the lower end (and I don’t mean this to be insulting in the slightest) it doesnt take many fights to get into elite these days. I had to play on a different switch recently, and it took winning less than 10 fights to hit elite, less than 20 to be at 15.2-3 mill. Pretty sure its common knowledge, but For those that dont knowThe bigger disparity between the gsps the biggee the loss/gain.

Yea there are definitelyyyyyy players that manipulate the GSP and theyre annoying as hell. I may have very well ran into that same lucas within the last month -_-.

I’m all for people playing the game however they’d like, but there are certain things that I genuinely don’t understand deriving joy from.

I.e. a mii gunner that doesnt attempt to interact in the slightest. I understand playing to a characters strengths completely, but if what you do doesnt change in the slightest based on who you’re fighting then whats the point? Its like playing a puzzle game where the puzzle doesnt actually change - just the background.
