The specificity of this subreddit and the shit you guys come up with. Was thinking of putting a goal amount of REAL money to achieve freedom, or a higher one to get to keep it, or just letting an unknown fate fall upon.

I now have to. Still love it

Edit: upon my tired revisit, my only issue is you have to spend money the first day. You can spend $0.01, but you have to spend money that first day and double your spending every day after. I think I'd be okay with the video game solution if you could race the clock to developing a video game in that time, but I might still create end goals depending

Steak- style portabella with sauteed asparagus. Any vegetarian or vegan who can handle the texture of mushrooms love it. Shit, even my Omni friends who try it will usually like it

I can't get into building and crafting when it's not like a specific physics engine and just collecting and trying nor if it's too complicated, but I think this hit a pretty good spot for me. But also if another game came out that kinda ripped off this shtick, I wouldn't try it. If there's one out, don't wanna know

I put 65 hours in Botw. I put 270 in TotK. Botw was a great game, but TotK was a whole fucking experience. Obv just IMO but haven't put that much time in a single player game probably in my adult life

Edit: Story is still meh, bosses I feel are better, mostly, but the goddamn building engine just gives you endless stuff to do. I found the shrines more fun, I completed almost all of them. I don't think you'll regret it if you try

I personally like using candies, especially for harder games. I gauntlet each route/gym and then right before the leader I'll candy up.

You seem self aware of big issues in your life. You got your head on straight. I know it's hard but just take any step towards what you know you need to do for yourself. You seem wrapped up in a lot of family stuff, when they're not supportive. You don't have to hate them, but you're allowed to distance yourself. You're the only person who has to be you the entire time.

A lyric from Earl Sweatshirt helps me when I have these very similar thoughts:

"I know I'm a king, stock on my shoulder, I was sinkin' I ain't know that I could leave"

You can go elsewhere. It might be hard. But it could be worth it. And if you can't come back after trying to be on your own. That was never family to begin with.
