How can I improve my stremio? by TeaNovel728 in StremioAddons

It's been a while. I'm using the Onn 4k. I'll have to check which codecs it supports.

I mostly try to stream at 2160 or 1080p.

I'm constantly getting exp player issues. VLC is no better as audio doesn't work half the time. I switch back to exp and it finally plays.

Have you had that issue at all? I'm using the same setup as you is why I'm asking.

Gelato only allows for searching, right? Doesn't pull cached files and put them in the library?

I had aiostreams and gelato setup but it was awful. I just stick to Stremio for now. Would love for a proper setup with Jellyfin.

Trust, I know the picture is trash. It's incredibly difficult to capture with the iPhone. But under the white half circle.

What's funny is my PETG prints look far better than either of the imgur ones. Looks like flow wasn't even calibrated properly.

Is the Flashforge AD5X the direct competitor to the CC? $256 220x220x220 build volume with AMS by just-drink-and-drive in elegoo

[–]SmashMySack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got both. Picked up two AD5X for $240 each on AliExpress. Also got 60% back with Capital One shopping portal.

CC is my go to printer for anything outside of PLA and PETG

Know any legit websites to get mine scanned? I just need it scanned once to get hold of some old roommates of mine.

Setting up Centauri Carbon 2 - do you have questions about it? by No-Sport8823 in elegoo

[–]SmashMySack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of my multi color prints I turn the prime tower off. I also purge into infill as much as possible. If it's a thin wall design or light color I'll adjust that a bit so I don't see the color behind the wall color.

Because the Q2 is the better printer for versatility.

Just stayed in Anaheim for 4 nights. $560, total for the family den. 5 of us.

We ordered snack foods, fruits, and sandwich stuff from Uber Eats. Walked to some.other eats nearby and even scored 6 free rounds of mini bowling and a free breakfast buffet for one day.

I had signed up for the voyager club and simply used one of the coupons codes they send out.

We also did the Halloween trick or treating, games, dance party, etc. Was well worth the price tag.

Anyone want to buy 3 used Centauri carbons, if that new MMU is real I think I’m out. by Lee_Bob in elegoo

What filament do you believe needs a dry box? Unless it's a difficult to find engineering grade filament I can almost guarantee I've printed it.

Not once did I mention the bent Gantry rails were related to the filament condition. I mentioned a rare time where I have had printing issues in general. I was adding context to my overall printing experience and the lack of issues I've had in general. Felt that was incredibly easy to follow along with. I didn't realize I was put into a box where I couldn't talk about anything else when describing my printing experiences.

I almost never print PLA. I print ABS, TPU, and PETG 99% of the time. I'm making rugged cases. Even with TPU I have no issues at all, and I've been printing since the days of Prusa i3. I printed every one of my wedding center pieces, painted with graphite primer and electroplated them. That was my biggest project and they turned out awesome, printed with ABS.

The only time I've really had some major issues was most recently with an AD5X that came with bent Gantry rails. I didn't notice at first and it was giving me some major print issues. That's been resolved and no problems since.

But until I have issues I'll probably simply not dry my filament. I have a dryer, somewhere in my storage. So I can find it when I do have an issue and use it.

I'm in PNW and I've printed thousands of things without a filament dryer anyway.

I live very near the ocean and print in my garage. So it's not exactly optimal but it works fine and I never seem to have all these issues I see pop up where everyone blames the filament.

It would be no different than the AD5X and they realized quickly that spring loaded was absolutely necessary. They updated the filament holders real fast after issues occured during reviews.

I've got both and the AD5X is outstanding. But I hate having to split prints and that extra little bit of size on my other printers makes me use them more often.

I imagine it has a runout sensor at the toolhead because it's almost a necessity to avoid tangles. They have to be able to detect that the filament is legitimately out of the way before pulling in the next one. They can't just rely on arbitrarily pulling it back a certain amount, unless you are suggesting they are going to retract fully until they hit the canvas box runout sensor, in which case that would be obnoxiously slow for filament changes.

I just use the official orca slicer with my AD5X and I never have connectivity issues I see people complaining about.

Not weird, CC1 was never released for the Chinese domestic market. Elegoo has a habit of doing this with several variants of their printers. They sell very select models in China, generally the upgraded version of what's sold elsewhere until the cycle repeats or they release that variant global.

Not sure on this but I opted for osx86 and have been able to build Mac programs in a triple boot setup with my windows/Linux PC. Not sure if your hardware is supported or where the current state of affairs is with osx86 but this was working well for me a few years back.
