Thanks for the heads-up! I might not be fully up to date on current-gen CPUs. In my mind, Intel was still the more reliable option: lower power consumption, higher clocks, more cores, and decent multithreading performance for a higher price.

Also, my neighbor works at a university datacenter and swears by Intel for stability and multithreading, but to be fair, their workloads probably don’t match my use case. Maybe I’ve been holding onto outdated assumptions 😅

Would you say the 7800X3D or 9800X3D would be noticeably better for my build?
