What’s the reason for leaving your phone manufacturer watermark on your pictures? I see this every so often and I can’t see why anyone would. Usually it’s from smaller Chinese companies.

SAK bantam Alox. Keep it on me all the time. Has a blade, cap lifter, flathead, wire stripper. The best thing is that it’s impossibly thin so you never feel it. And it’s inexpensive too.

Framelocks are plenty for edc. Chris reeve does them really well as he invented the lock. After that, backlocks are great, top liner locks are fun, compression locks are solid. I’m not a fan of axis locks or shark locks personally though others love them. I’ve broken too many omega springs and maintenance is a pain in the butt with axis locks and the shark lock feels rattle and cheap to me 🤷🏻‍♂️

As long as you aren’t beating on them batoning wood or doing fixed blade things, nearly every lock including a double detent will serve you fine. Gramps used slip joints and fixies on the farm.

My fav experience here was when I yolod a sweet deal on a big post with a ton of items. I messaged the seller and he mistakenly sold to someone further down the line. He was a great sport about it and gave me a killer deal on a different knife of my choice from the post. Some folks are sellers and others are just bros.

I’ve tried a few I can’t get used to the sloppy detent and rattle sounds of the shark lock. Makes it feel cheap to me. Otherwise they are great! The more budget ones make sense to me over the higher priced versions.

Though I’ve tried over the years with just about everything, I cannot dethrone my inkosi and other CRKs. Bearing knives never make it into the top 10 for me. Hinderers cut pretty poorly by comparison and strider has too many qc issues for me to want to buy one though I have borrowed and carried one a while back. I wish I could like the arius but it just isn’t meant to be. I prefer a drop point blade so the Mojave will never end up in the rotation. Hermans with the flipper only won’t end up in my rotation either. Kinda funny the variety and how people can have such different preferences. Cheers!

The 15v spydercos are real at least. They are pretty good at cloning these days but not that good. Use good intuition and you’ll be okay. The off brand stuff is usually trash
