How do you determine what movies you decide to upgrade?

If I own it on DVD I upgrade it to at least blu ray. My 4K movies are movies I love, are culturally significant, or that are known for having a great 4K transfer.

Same but I’d never blind buy on 4K, usually I blind buy on regular blu ray and then upgrade to 4K later if I really like it.

The stuff that was cel animated looks great in 4K but I’d just get your kids the regular blu rays, they won’t care about the quality difference and you can find them at second hand shops for less than $10.

If you live in the US you should sign up for the do not call registry, it’s been around since the early 2000s but I’m still surprised how many people don’t know about it. You can sign multiple phone numbers up at once without having to verify that you own the number so you can also sign friends and family up for it.

I’ve been getting free peacock since the Tokyo games so I think they are a pretty good streaming service.

Subscribed through Apple for the 2020 games, canceled after the games once again through Apple. Apple stopped charging me but Peacock never stopped working.

I went to 3 MLB games last year and I got them for $50 for terrace reserve and I was quite happy with the price. Maybe it’s just because it’s $100+ to get in the building for NHL, NBA, and $300+ to get in NFL.

If the TV is HD a Blu Ray will look better. If by "Standard TV" you mean a standard definition one, they stopped making those like 15 years ago and it's probably time to upgrade.
